A good college for pursuing B.Com.
Placements: Only a few students get placed, around 25%. This is because some students do not pay attention to developing their skills. Otherwise, companies do visit the campus. Students get internships on their own. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and HDFC Bank come for campus placements and offer decent packages.
Infrastructure: All facilities are good. The library is also good, and the infrastructure is also good. Many students study in this college. It has a big library to study and practice questions using library resources. All students can take books home to study.
Faculty: Teachers help a lot during exam time. Teachers’ behavior is good with students, and they teach very well. Teachers support students and teach very well.

Satisfied with the course. Graduated in 2025. Curriculum and extracurriculars were excellent.
Placements: Around 50% of the students were placed. There aren't many companies coming for placements, and the companies that come are actually local, very small companies paying way too little. Around 70-80% people got internships, which was a good thing. There were online/at office, and paid/unpaid internships. Roles offered were BPO employee, HR executive, and sharebroker employee.
Infrastructure: As the college is a government college, there isn't excellent infrastructure. But, still, it's better than any other government college in Bhopal. The Wi-Fi installed in the library works well, but the college Wi-Fi doesn't work. Classrooms in the new building have new benches and well-painted rooms. Basic sports equipment is available for football, cricket and table tennis.
Faculty: This is the highlight of this college. The faculty is extremely talented and helpful, except for some of the people. They are very open to helping students, especially those looking to prepare for research or civil services examinations. The course is curriculum-relevant, the latest according to NEP, and it is industry-ready, but to a very small extent. Semester exams are not very difficult, they're of standard level. If one studies even in moderation, they can score well.
Other: I chose this course because I was deeply interested in commerce, and this institute has the biggest reputation in Bhopal.

It is a good college because of the faculty, good placements, infrastructure, etc.
Placements: About 40% of students get placed in our course. The average package offered in our course is 20 LPA. Accounts and management roles are offered in our course. Top roles are also offered in our course. Students got internships in our college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Our department is absolutely fine. I do not know about hostel facilities and the quality of food available in the mess, as I am not a part of it.
Faculty: Teachers help us a lot. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are medium, not too easy and not too hard in college.
Other: I chose this course for accounts and management in the future.

The faculty is good at helping us.
Placements: The placement record is very good so far. Many students have been selected and placed through HR by various companies, including external firms like TCS, APT, and others. The highest package offered till now is estimated to be 6 Lacs per annum. The college has also recently introduced a new course called B.Com in Retail.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and very intelligent. The faculty is strict but explains all chapters in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. Exams are conducted very strictly, with two faculty members present in each examination hall, and the examination head personally monitors students to prevent cheating. The director also observes students through CCTV cameras.
Other: "Events, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all very interesting. Various cells conduct workshops with the help of teachers. One of the main attractions of the college is 'Tarang,' a beautiful and enjoyable one-day event for students.

Placement is very good every year but only last few year it is not.
Placements: Placement from 2 years is good but earlier it is not that much effective, and does not provide good package. Through placement, students get success in earlier time when they come to the job, they get better future opportunities. The company coming to college is very high profile.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. Each department has separate Wi-Fi facility and computer labs. Classrooms are well-furnished and have extra classes that help to make students understand easily. We have a canteen for students with good food and well-cleaned.
Faculty: Teachers have good interaction and help in solving doubts. The exam is not much difficult and is upto the limit of the student. The paper is taken as a matter of college and having a good management of teacher in paper. The semester exam is not difficult.
Other: The motive for choosing this course is to get more information about it, which will be helpful in the future.

Best college in Bhopal, if you really want actual knowledge and value please take admission.
Placements: The institute placement rate for my batch was about 65%. The highest package for my course at that time was 6 LPA, the lowest was around 2.5 LPA, and the average was about 3 LPA. The top recruiter was Amazon, and I was also placed by them. Internships were not actually offered by the colleges; we had to find them ourselves. However, the college's reputation helped us secure good opportunities. The top roles included accounts manager, customer relationship manager, and so on.
Infrastructure: Being a government college, the infrastructure isn't as modern as that of a private institution, but all the basic facilities like labs, classrooms, and a library are available. The quality of food in the mess was quite average since it operated like a private canteen, but the medical and sports facilities were very good.
Faculty: The best part about the college is the teachers, who are qualified and extremely knowledgeable. The course content is 100% relevant now and will remain so in the future. The semester exams are quite challenging, but throughout the year, we are well-prepared for them, resulting in a pass percentage of over 85%.
Other: The course not only provides information about basic commerce subjects but also offers an honors track that gives each subject an extra edge. Not to exaggerate, but I believe the course is just perfect. There aren’t many events in the college—hardly 3 or 4 throughout the year—but plenty of curriculum-related programs take place. Regarding scholarships, I completed my studies with a full scholarship without a B.A. singh penny.

Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya is a good university but is not as great as DU, JNU etc. But when you compare it to IEHE it is comparably good.
