IDOL Mumbai University Admission 2025: Eligibility, Application, Dates & Fee

IDOL admissions are primarily merit-based. The institute conducts an entrance exam only for MCA and MMS courses. It is an institute under Mumbai University that offers multiple distance learning programmes at UG and PG levels. Interested candidates can apply online for IDOL Mumbai University admissions.

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of all the courses must visit the official application portal of Mumbai University for distance education and apply online. A step-by-step process is mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the online application portal of Institute of Distance and Open Learning, University of Mumbai (idoloa.digitaluniversity.ac).

Step 2: Click on the most ‘Admission ’ tab appearing on that page.

Step 3: On the next window that opens up on the screen, click on ‘Register’.

Step 4: Fill in the complete registration form and create a ‘User-id’ and ‘Password’ which will be further used to fill up the online application form.

Step 5: After filling the registration form, click on ‘Submit’ and log in with the user-id and password created during registration.

Step 6: Fill up the application form, pay the application pay, attach all the required documents and submit the form.

NOTE: Those seeking admission to SY and TY are required to obtain the application form from IDOL, at Vidyanagari Campus.

The Institute of Distance and Open Learning of Mumbai University offers a number of scholarship to the eligible candidates. In addition to the University-specific scholarships, the University also offers Government scholarship (available for some courses) to the reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/VJ-NT/SBC).
