Placements: Many IEM Kolkata students get multiple placement offers. The highest placement offer from IEM Group was INR 40 LPA.
IEM Kolkata has a good placement record, with top recruiting companies including TCS, CTS, Accenture, LTI Mindtree, Capgemini, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: It was hell for us. The food they served to us is unhealthy , too oily and tasteless. We have to order food from outside most probably every day, even if we complain to the authorities; they don't listen to us . And the worst part is the hostel entry time; it's 6:30 pm . And we have to pay a huge amount of money but the facility we get is like nothing; the wifi is too slow and we only get 4 GB per month and the maximum time wifi is not working. Overall, the IEM hostel life is worst.
Faculty: Most of the faculties and senior professors are helpful, especially while they provide notes in their every lecture, and even sometimes we also have Google Classroom, where several assignments and MCA programs help students develop essential skills like analytical, logical, technical, communication, and organizational skills.
Other: There are many job opportunities for MCA graduates, including in software development, computer applications, and other IT roles.

Had a great experience throughout my post graduation.
Placements: Almost 80% students get good placement in well reputated and renowned companies. I got offer letter from LTIMindtree and TCS. The highest package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest is 3.6lpa. The top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, ACCENTURE, LTIMINDTREE, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS. And also PWC, ABZOOBA, COZEVA, TRILOGY etc. Company visit our college. College provide us internship for better future and experienced. The best thing is that even though we are 1st batch of MCA in IEM, we have been given almost the same opportunity as the B.Teach CSE. Ample amount of opportunity is provided to the students. It is upto the students to grab the opportunities that the college provides.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs are good. College library is really excellent. The overall quality of college infrastructure is decent, with a proper amount of capacity. The food in the canteen is also very good. Academic wise it's good. IEM is in the centre of IT hub in Kolkata.
Faculty: We have faculty members who are very educated, knowledge and experienced. They are very helpful and understandable well communication. The syllabus of my course is advanced. Students can easily crack the semester exam, if they attend the lectures regularly.

It is an excellent MCA college under JECA after JU.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 7.6 LPA by TCS Digital. Top recruiting companies like Accenture, PWC, Wipro, EY, Deloitte, etc., visit our campus. The best part is that MCA students are given equal opportunities as B. Tech CSE students.
Infrastructure: The library has a good selection of books.
Faculty: Our teachers are very skilled in their respective fields. They are well-qualified and they have ample knowledge. The MCA degree is well suited for students who came from non-B.Tech branches and want to work in the IT sector with the same opportunities as B.Tech. CSE students. Our teachers are very skilled and have in-depth knowledge of every subject they teach. The syllabus is well-organised according to the requirements of the software industries and the latest technologies.

Best placement among private colleges, with top class faculties and modern facilities.
Placements: IEM is one of the best private Engineering and Management college in West Bengal. Placements are offered from top companies Like PWC, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Mindtree, Oracle, Infosys, Accenture etc. In CSE, 95-99% students get placed before completing the course. In other streams, 85-90% students get placed. The placement is top rated for management courses. The highest package in 2022 is 72 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has free Wi-Fi for students. It also has Digital labs for each subject. It has an auditorium, 24*7 digital library, and a playground. There are three different buildings with modern facilities. The college is in the centre of IT hub, Kolkata.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of teaching is top rated. The syllabus and the curriculum is advanced. Students can easily crack the semester exams, if they attend the lectures regularly.

IEM is the top private college in Kolkata.
Placements: 60 percent of students were placed in MCA. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, the average is 4.2 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are CTS, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture and Mindtree. 50% of students got internships from my course. Software engineer and programme analyst etc. are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs and Digital Classroom are there. The library is really good, every book available there. Faculty members are really good, behaviour is really good. The hostel is there, one for boys and another for girls. Hostel facilities are obviously good. They also give good quality food.
Faculty: They are well qualified, and most of the teachers are qualified from IIT & Jadavpur University. The teaching quality is really good.
Obviously, many workshops are held for students. IoT workshop, cyber security etc.
Obviously, this workshop makes students industry ready.
Exams are difficult for every student, but faculty members help us with notes, important questions etc. 95% of students keep the pass percentage.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placements in MCA.
Placements: Almost 25 students got placed out of 60 students. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mind Tree, Accenture, PWC, Abzooba Trilogy Cozeva, etc., come here. A girl got placed with 7 LPA for a managerial post in PWC.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs don't have air-conditioners. Computers do not work well. We belong to the first batch of MCA at IEM. We do not have separate rooms. The food is good. There is a games room too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help us with our studies and provide good notes. After every class, we have to give an exam on the topic taught. Semester exams are tough. The college doesn't give much time for the semester.
Other: This is a professional course, so it provides good job opportunities. I wish that the college should improve its placement process. Aptitude classes start early. It is a very strict college. Life is like a school. The behavior is not so good. There is one cultural fest, and it is not much impressive. Technical fests are also held here.

INR 4.2 LPA is the total tuition fee for BTech at Institute of Engineering and Management. The hostel fee is INR 2,000, and students also have to pay a one-time fee of INR 2,000 seperate from the tuition and hostel fee.

The institute offers BTech, BBA, MCA, MBA, MBA (general), etc. courses at the UG and PG level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission are to complete Class 12 and graduation as per the course requirements. Students are selected based on merit/entrance-exam scores as per course requirement.

Yes, BTech course is available at IEM Kolkata. The university offers BTech courses at the UG level.
