IMS BHU Admission process is conducted completely online. The admission procedure involves several steps, such as application, selection and shortlisting, followed by counselling/ admission confirmation. Those seeking to join the institute for any of the courses offered need to ensure that they fulfil the admission requirements as specified by the institute. Interested candidates satisfying the admission requirements can follow the steps mentioned below to complete the Institute of Management Studies, BHU admission process:
Step 1: Admission Test
In order to qualify for admission, candidates must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management for the corresponding year. 50% weightage will be given to the CAT Score while calculating the merit for admission to the above Programs.
Step 2: Application Process
Candidates who have qualified for the admission test are required to apply through the University Admission Portal (www.bhuonline.in).
Step 3: Group Discussion and Interview
Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview, which will be conducted in the Institute as per the schedule decided by the Admission Committee of the Institute. Weightage for Group Discussion and Interview Score will be 30% (15% each).
Step 4: Admission Counselling
Candidates will be called for counselling for provisional admission in order of their combined merit in CAT, Academic Record and Group Discussion & Interview.
Step 5: Admission Finalised
When all the steps are completed, candidates can finally pay up the admission fee/ Tuition fee to finalise their seats in the institution.

Institute of Management Studies under BHU also known as IMS BHU MBA offers three certification courses, i.e. Diploma in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship, Diploma in Leisure and Hospitality Management,and, Certificate Program in Health Care Management. The programme is offered for a duration of one year (Two semesters) and six months (One semester)and shall be basically for graduating students. For admission, candidates must fill in the eligibility criteria:
