JAGSoM Mumbai MBA Admissions are entrance-based. To secure admission at JAGSoM MBA candidates need to have valid score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ MHCET/ MAT/ CMAT/. Additionally, the candidates need to appear for JAGMAT as well and score more than 40%. 

 Also, candidates who wish to pursue MBA ( 1 year in JAGSoM, Greater Mumbai + 1 year in Partner Business School (SUNY, KEDGE or University of Texas, Arlington) must also appear for IELTS or TOEFL as per the requirement of the partner schools.

JAGMAT exam has a total of 75 questions. There are three sections in the JAGMAT exam. Each section has equal question weightage.

No. JAGMAT exam does not have any sectional time limit. Candidates can answer questions from any section as per their convenience within the 90 minute window.

JAGMAT is an entrance exam conducted to evaluate candidates for admission to JAGSoM's postgraduate management programs. Candidates who do not have a score in any national level MBA exam can appear for JAGMAT.

Jagdish Sheth Business & Management School (JAGSoM) notifies the JAGMAT event schedule to all the candidates via website and email after they complete the registration. Candidates will find the JAGMAT dates on its official website. All applicants who are issued the admit card will have to appear for the exam as per the schedule. Besides the official website, candidate's admit card will also host the JAGMAT exam date.

JAGMAT question paper consists of three sections, namely

- English Language Proficiency

- Quantitative Aptitude

- Logical Reasoning

Candidates will have to answer all the questions asked in the JAGMAT exam. JAGSoM will consider overall performance of the JAGMAT exam to evaluate a candidate during the selection process.

JAGSoM MBA is a two-year, dual-degree postgraduate course. The unique feature about JAGSoM Mumbai MBA course is that the first year of the course will be conducted at the Mumbai Campus and the second year will be conducted at either the Bangalore campus or at any one of JAGSoM’s Internationally Institutions like State University of New York, Albany (USA), University of Texas, Arlington (USA) or Kedge Business School, France, as per the course selection made by the candidate.

The other selection rounds at JAGSoM Mumbai includes Group exercise round and personal interview round.

JAGMAT exam dates are notified to all applicants via an email. Since the JAGMAT exam is conducted withina  rolling schedule, each applicant may have their test on a separate date.

JAGMAT application fee, once paid, will not be refunded in any circumstances, even if you do not appear in the exam.

The admission process of JAGSoM MBA begins with applying for the course and ends with payment of admission fee to secure admissio at the institute. The step-wise JAGSoM Mumbai Admission process is metioned below:

Step 1: Fill out the JAGSoM Application form.

Step 2: Appear for one among NMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/SNAP/MH-CET and the appear for JAGMAT. 

Step 3: Shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for Group exercise and two rounds of personal interview. 

Step 4: Selected candidates will be given the admission offer. They need to pay the admission confirmation fee to secure their admission.

For each question in the JAGMAT exam, there will be four options. Out of all the four answer options, candidates will have to choose the correct answer option.

JAGSoM conducts the JAGMAT exam once a year. However, the exam is conducted with a rolling schedule where applicants get multiple chances to take the test within the application window.

In order to apply for JAGMAT entrance exam, candidates must appear for hold a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. Jagdish Sheth Business & Management School, also known as JAGSoM, conducts JAGMAT every year for PGDM and MBA admissions. Besides JAGMAT, JAGSoM MBA admissions are also based on other national level MBA entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, MAH MBA CET, NMAT, etc.
