Review of Jayalakshmi Institute of Technology (JIT Dharmapuri).
Placements: Almost 95% of the students get placed in companies from college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. The lowest salary package offered was Rs. 13,000- Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Wipro and Infosys are the top companies that visit our campus. Around 56% of the students got internships, and it may be software or hardware related.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a good infrastructure with 24hrs free Wi-Fi to students for study purposes. Many books are available in the library. We also have smart classes. Around 20% of the faculty members stay in the hostel. The food served in the hostel mess is very good. They also give certain importance to sports also. A sports day function is conducted every year.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are guiding us to overcome hesitation. They communicate with us in a very friendly manner. Faculty members were well educated, and they may have a good experience in this field. The teaching quality 90/100, and teaching is also good for us and easy to understand. Tamil medium students can also easily understand the concepts.
Other: I opted for this course because I like circuit designing and debugging. ECE department provides job opportunities for both hardware and software sector side, so it is a major advantage for us. ALmost 100%scholarships are provided for parentless & merit students also provided full free education for students with a cutoff above 190%.

Due to less student we can take more responsibilities.
Placements: May be highest package is INR 2 Lacs per year. Average package offered in my course is INR 1.2 L per year. Most of the companies require core field. Top recruiting companies are not coming. Learning an extra skill courses conducted is okay. But its not good enough. Because that course duration is very less.
Infrastructure: Poor facilities and infrastructure in B.E. Free Wi-Fi available. But mobile not allowed. For 1,2 and 3rd year students. Final year students can use for project-related purposes. Food available in canteen is low cost. But very poor quality and tasty. Home food is better choice.
Faculty: Some of the faculties are tech industries oriented. But the teaching time is very less. Most of the time we spent writing exam every day. For example we spend to write exams nearly 1-2 months before the university exam. These kind of exams are conducted by our instuition decision. That may create core pressure to most of the students.
Other: I chose B.E-ECE for I am already interested in that field. But after final year I can't feel happy, because my studies and job isn't matching. Those things are very different.
