JIPMER, Pondicherry offers twelve courses in its M.Sc program. The admission is made on the basis of marks secured in entrance exams. The entrance exams accepted for admission to M.Sc at JIPMER, Pondicherry are JIPMER Nursing and JIPMER PG. Other than these, JIPMER admission to MD/ MS courses is based on INI CET scores. INI CET 2024 Counselling is ongoing for the January Session for admission to MD/ MS courses at JIPMER.
Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate along with English as one of the subjects can apply for BSc at JIPMER Puducherry. SC/ST/OBC candidates need 40% aggregate to be eligible, whereas 45% aggregate is required for PwD category candidates) to apply for the course.

Overall six months time is sufficent for INI CET preparation. This includes 4 month in depth study and 2-month for revision work. The moment a candidate plan to appear for the INI CET, first and formost things he/she should do is to draw a study plan. Focus on those subjects where you are strong in terms of concept. Don't spend too musch time initially on subjects where you are weak. This will demotivate you and affect your preparation. Keep this in mind that concept is key. Candidate must be a registered nurse (R.N. and R.M.) or equivalent. Candidate should possess Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with the mentioned duration of work experience as Staff Nurse on or before 31.07.2022. The prescribed experience will be calculated only after obtaining the license from the state nursing council. The Upper age limit is 40 years as on the closing date of Online Registration (20-06-2022) and the age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Service candidates are as per Government rules.
