Good autonomous engineering college in Mumbai .
Placements: When it comes to placements here, mainly the companies that come are service-based and they pick in bulk. In the computer engineering department, around 98% were placed. The highest package was INR 13 LPA, the lowest was INR 3 LPA and the average was INR 6-7 LPA. The top companies were LTI, TCS, Infosys, and Mastek. Here, the internship scenario was not good, as you needed to search for the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in the building; we have 2 floors (3 and 5) where all the labs and classrooms are present. All the labs have AC and the classrooms are also quite good. The library is also very good; you can take the books from there on a two-week basis. Here, you can opt for two hostels: one is on Vidyavihar Campus and the other is here. Both are quite good, but the food is quite mediocre, the canteen is good, and quite good options are there. There is also a juice center at present, making fresh juice at quite nominal rates. And there are two common rooms for boys and girls, respectively, which have a carrom, chess and TT table, and for sports, a turf is there for cricket and a ground for different sports.
Faculty: Because the college is autonomous, the teachers are extremely helpful and educated, and they are always willing to assist and take pride in their teaching quality. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, as the college is autonomous so the curriculum has been made with the help of industry and IIT's professor. Here, it is not so difficult to score well in exams if you keep focused and sit for some specific teacher lectures. The pass percentage is >95%.

I am moderately satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 10-20% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are Axis Bank, Deloitte, etc. Many students got placed in banks. Top roles are offered in Axis Bank. Many students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good. Water filters are provided in this college. Washrooms are clean. The food served in the canteen is decent. Pure vegetarian food items are available in the canteen. Medical facilities are great.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The passing percentage is 35%. The exam schedules are nice at this college. Staff members are kind and helpful. They are not rude.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computers. Our campus crowd is average. Events and fests are conducted in this college. I would rate 8 out of 10 for this college.

College is good for students who want to pursue higher studies, but not for placements.
Placements: The top roles offered are software developer, frontend developer, backend developer, system engineer, and coder. Many companies visit the college to recruit students, but the CTC of the companies offering to students is low as compared to the college status and students knowledge.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is moderately good. Proper hygiene is maintained. But once any equipment is damaged, it is not repaired at its earliest. Lifts are there but are not properly maintained. Washrooms are not clean. Sometimes classrooms are good, but proper ventilation is not there.
Faculty: Exams are moderately difficult; you have to study to pass, and often students fail because they ignore studying. The 75 percent attendance criteria needs to be fulfilled if you want to sit for the exams, and assignment submission is mandatory.

Review of K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology.
Placements: Around 95-100% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 3.6 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Media.net, Vodafone, BNP Paribas, etc. Top roles offered are SDE, web developer, etc. They recruit students according to their experience and skills.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are average. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Wi-Fi facility is not available in classrooms. Labs have ethernet. Hostels are good. The food served in the hostel is good and hygienic. They provide medical facilities. They provide facilities for sports like football, table tennis, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Many teachers are well-qualified. A few teachers are very good. They have good knowledge. The course curriculum is similar to MU. It is relevant. They conduct 2 term tests and the end-semester exam. They also conduct practical exams every semester. Exams are moderate.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it and I wanted to build a career in it. The course can be a bit more relevant so that students can be industry-ready. Our college crowd is mostly Gujarati. Our seniors are helpful. Many fests are held in our college. Our college has many clubs. We can participate if we have an interest.

It is a good campus with an excellent campus life.
Placements: Almost all students in computer engineering get placed. The high salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Media.net. Software developer and web developer are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus but not in individual classrooms. Classrooms are decent. It has a well-stocked library. All course-related books are available in the library. The hostels are excellent. The food is excellent, and hygiene is also maintained properly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but they have limited academic knowledge. The course curriculum is not very close to industrial needs. The difficulty level of semester exams is above average. The teaching quality is decent. Some teachers have deep knowledge about the subjects, while others do not.
