Good faculty, great placements, and good infrastructure.
Placements: VESIT had a solid placement record, especially for CS and IT branches. Around 75–80% of students get placed every year. Big names like JP Morgan, ISS, and Morgan Stanley visited the campus. The average package was 6.5 LPA, and the highest went around 20 LPA. Most companies were mass recruiters. However, placements for core branches were fewer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of VESIT was very solid for a college in Mumbai. Labs were a highlight, with specialized labs for each subject in the curriculum, including the e-Yantra lab. Most labs were well-maintained. They were clean and air-conditioned. However, general classrooms lacked AC, and there were only two air-conditioned classrooms on each floor. The hostel was located on the same campus, and the rent was included in the fees. There were both AC and non-AC room options. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and there were separate buildings for boys and girls.
Faculty: VESIT became autonomous in 2023. From that time, there was a major shift in the curriculum. The college focused more on modern technologies like AI, Cloud, and Blockchain. They had a capstone project every year where students had to present their project ideas. Faculty was good and believed more in practical work than theoretical learning.
Other: I picked CS because of the coding culture. Societies like IEEE and CSI taught way more than textbooks. But it was not perfect. The college was strict about 75 percent attendance. It consumed time that could have been used for personal projects. The campus was big and peaceful, with a garden in the center. The alumni network was great and always gave useful tips to juniors.

Famous and popular college to pursue Engineering.
Placements: Placements are good in the college; that is, it is better than most other engineering colleges. Students achieve their dream jobs through the college placement cell. Packages offered range from 5 LPA to 20 LPA. Companies visit the college in large numbers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. A Wi-Fi facility is present throughout the college. The library of the college is just amazing. The college also has an amphitheatre for the students to use during their free time, and various events also take place there. Some classrooms have AC, whereas others do not. The college only has one canteen, and hence the crowd is always present there.
Faculty: The college has now become autonomous, and hence they have designed their own curriculum according to the needs of modern industry. Most of the faculty members are odd, but some are amazing as well. Semester exams are taken considering the students. Most of the students pass easily if they pay attention to lectures.

Nice college and better than most engineering colleges in Mumbai.
Placements: Vesit provides placements and it has a placement cell too. The placements are average and range from 8 to 10 LPA. Various famous companies like JP Morgan Chase, Accenture, Jio, Barclays, etc. visit the campus for the placement of students. The college has good placement statistics.
Infrastructure: The college has a nice infrastructure—a pink building with various courses inside the same campus which includes Pharmacy, Engineering, Business Studies, Architecture, etc. The college also has an amphitheater in the engineering college building. There is a state of Swami Vivekanand in the middle of the campus. The college also has a central library and a hygienic canteen.
Faculty: The faculty members are average. They are good at their work. Some faculty members are extraordinary. They teach the subject very well, while others are not that good. Some faculty members are very kind, while others are rude too. The teaching provided is book knowledge in the first year. However, as we go to higher years, the quality of education is enhanced, which makes students industry-ready.
Other: Admission to the college is purely based on merit, as determined by the CET and JEE exams. The cutoff for the college is usually above the 90 percentile. The college also provides various scholarships, the major one being Mahadbt. 51% of the seats in the college are reserved for linguistic minorities, i.e., the Sindhi minority. Different fests take place at the college throughout the year.

One of the best colleges in Mumbai with great infrastructure and great faculty members.
Placements: The highest package was around INR 20 to 30 lacs. Many companies visit to recruit employees. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Amazon, Wipro, etc. And gives you a good package according to your CGPA. Students above 9 CGPA get a chance at internships easily.
Infrastructure: Courses depend on the Mumbai University syllabus. Teaching methods are very advanced, and they make it easy to learn the subjects. Canteen food is good and healthy. And staff are very respectful of others. Seniors do help their juniors if there is any doubt.
Faculty: Exams are based on the Mumbai University syllabus. And they are a little bit tough, but due to the teaching style of college faculty members, the exams go smoothly. Internal assessments are easier as compared to the semester exams. The probability of passing is around 35 percent.

Good infrastructure and college life.
Placements: College placement for the computer and IT branches is good. The average package for the college campus placement is INR 7-8 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies such as JP Morgan, Accenture, Godrej, Carwale, Asian Paints, and Reliance have visited the college and recruited students.
Infrastructure: The labs are well equipped, with all the systems in working condition. The classrooms are spacious. College Wi-Fi is also available for students. The library is also well equipped with books. The college has a hostel that is located on the campus itself.
Faculty: The faculty is good and helpful, but as far as exams are concerned, extra study is required. The quality of teaching provided at the college is good. The course curriculum is also relevant, with all the requirements. Exams are not that difficult when you study.
Other: I always wanted to do computer engineering because of my interest in the teaching domain. The best thing about my course is that we can study both hardware and software. The crowd is good. Events held in college are much more fun.

It is located in sindhi society which is at a distant location from station.
Placements: I am still in 2nd year. Lowest is around 3LPA and the highest is around 16LPA. Top recruiting companies are JPMC, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS. Only 5-6 students per batch get the internship and that internship is organized by Vesit Renaissance cell. Computer, IT, EXTC, etc. are offered roles here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available at all the locations. Labs are air conditioned and the PCs are updated with the latest software, Classrooms are spacious. Library has one internet room where students can come and surf. I haven't been staying in the hostel but hostel facilities are quite good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. All the subjects are not relevant but we gain knowledge from that subjects too. Semester exam comes from MU but the examination level is moderate. Passing percentage is around 35%. During the live KT you aren't allowed to sit in the interview.

In VESIT, students realise their true potential.
Placements: Though there are no notable companies, certain companies like CarWale, Deloitte and JPMC recruit VESIT students. JP Morgan recruits most of the students. The highest salary package offered to VESIT students is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite average. All the labs are well maintained. There is poor network speed around the college. There is Wi-Fi for students, but the speed is quite slow. VESIT has a huge ground for various outdoor sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc. Our college canteen is quite spacious and hygienic. The quality of food served here is nice.
Faculty: In the first year, teachers were very good at teaching. But in the second year, the quality of teaching was slightly decreased. In the third and fourth years, faculty members were very nice, really helpful and motivating. Although the course curriculum was not as per the industry needs, it contained all the basics. Exams in VESIT were very competitive, and there was a positive atmosphere during exams.
Other: I was fond of computers from a very young age, so without thinking twice, I chose to pursue B.E in computers. Our college organises various events related to yoga and sessions related to mental health, which is actually very helpful. There are various clubs and societies in VESIT like coding club, E-cell, cultural clubs, etc. Though VESIT does not provide any scholarships, teachers help in getting government scholarships like Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, etc., which provides a 50% waiver on tuition fees.

Great College in Mumbai to pursue your Engineering Career.
Placements: The percentage of placement in this college is the best in the city. The average salary is around 4.5 -5 Lac p. a. for Computer Department which is pretty good. Companies like Accenture, JP Morgan, Darkhorse, L&T, etc. Come to our college every year. The highest salary received was given by JP Morgan which was over 20 Lac p. a. In short, placements are great.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided include Wi-Fi, Smart classrooms, R&D lab, private server, etc. Our library contains over 40,000 books for all departments as well as for competitive exams. The computer labs are modern and the latest software is used which are properly licensed. The hostel facility is pretty good. The hostel is provided to boys for 2 years and 4 years for girls. The mess provides a 4-time nutritious food and a healthy atmosphere. Medical facilities, vending machines everything is available at the hostel. Sports are also good to play in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are great. All the teachers help the students to understand topics and clear any doubts they have. Very helpful and highly qualified. Teaching quality is also good and they do use presentations to prepare us. The curriculum is okay and covers all the concepts of today's technology. A well-equipped industrial lab in the Instrumentation Department helps to understand the complexities that occur on-site work.

Total fees for BE in UIET keeps changing each year.
It was around 75000 last year. Hostel fees however is Rs. 560 per month including maintenance and electricity charges. mess and canteen bill comes as per diet with a minimum if Rs15 per month.
