Candidates seeking admission at Central University of Karnataka through CUET 2026 must know the admission process and eligibility requirements for UG courses. The Central University of Karnataka will launch the registration link for candidates to apply for admission based on CUET UG scores. The university will also release the CU Karnataka UG Counselling Schedule for 2026-27 admission cycle at cuk.ac.in. Candidates who will appear for the Common University Entrance Test and JEE Mains 2026 will be eligible to apply for undergraduate programme admissions.
Only candidates who will fill out their CU Karnataka UG counselling registration form before the deadline at cukcuet.samarth.edu.in will be able to participate in the CU Karnataka UG Counselling Process based on the CUK CUET Cut Off 2026. Registered candidates will be able to check the cutoff marks on the official website. The Central University of Karnataka also releases a merit list for Supernumerary Quota students at the end.

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.

After registering at the official website of CU Karnataka, aspirants have to log in once again to fill out the CU Karnataka counselling application form. Below is the process to apply for CUET admissions 2026.
- Visit the link: cukcuet.samarth.edu.in.
- Under the Registered User Login, Enter your CUET Application Number as username.
- Enter your secret password.
- Enter the Captcha & click on login.
- Click on Complete Profile to fill in the registration details (Profile, Academic, Address, Bank, and other details)

Candidates registering themselves for admission at Central University of Karnataka must ensure to keep the following documents with them to avoid any delay in the counselling registration process.

- Senior Secondary School/PUC-II (Class 12th) Mark Sheet or equivalent.

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:
- Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
- Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
- Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.

Central University of Karnataka Admission Through CUET 2026: Open Spot Counselling
Once all the merit lists are released, including the SNQ Merit List, Central University of Karnataka releases a list, including vacant seats for which the university schedules an open spot counselling in offline mode. The following candidates who could not get admission in the merit lists and SNQ lists are eligible for open spot counselling at Central University of Karnataka:
- Candidates registered on CUK-Samarth Portal.
- Unregistered candidates on CUK-Samarth Portal but with valid CUET UG scores.
- Candidates shortlisted in previous merit list/s who could not get admission for any reason.
- Candidates with revised eligibility of domain test. Check ANNEXURE-1 for revised eligibility.
Note: Candidates with revised domain test will be considered for admission only after regular domain test candidates get exhausted in offline mode.
