My college is worth it for placement.
Placements: Top recruiting companies often include big players like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, McKinsey, etc., depending on the course (like Engineering, Management, Data Science, etc.) Internship companies also depend on the specialisation. For example, teach companies for CS courses, consulting firms for MBA courses, pharma companies for biotech courses, etc.
Infrastructure: The quality of hostel facilities can vary widely. Some hostels offer well-maintained rooms, study areas, Wi-Fi, and recreational space. Medical facilities in hostels are typically basic with first-aid kits and a nurse or doctor available for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are approachable. They are willing to answer questions and respond to student needs both inside and outside the classroom. Teachers have the necessary educational background, industry certification or real world experience to teach the subject matter effectively.
Other: The course offers a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. The material is interesting and engaging. They are instructors, knowledgeable, approachable and passionate about the subject. They provide practical insights

Good infrastructure and teaching.
Placements: More than 92% of students are placed. The highest package is 52 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Over 150 companies visit, including Infosys and BMI. 65% of students get placed. The placement rate for 2024 was impressive, with 632 job offers made to students. The placement rate for 2025 is high.
Infrastructure: The hostel offers room options with a common area, free Wi-Fi, and purified drinking water. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are available in the mess. The hostel facilities for boys and girls are excellent, with clean drinking water, a gym, and medical facilities. The classrooms have well-maintained high-speed Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are kind and well-educated, allowing for cultural competitions and industrial visits. The pass percentage is 90.3%. Comprehensive evaluation at the end of the course includes research or practical projects, and the assessment methods may include multiple-choice questions.
Other: I am more interested in electronics, and this college has a good placement rate for my course. They conduct many fests and events.

My 1st year in this college. The days that I spent and the time I lived here.
Placements: According to my knowledge, 4 students got 52 LPA and 3 students got 40 LPA, and a few 20 remaining students got 4 LPA to 8 LPA. I think so I am just in 1st year most of the students are placed from CSBS and everyone got placed at least for 3 LPA. There is no doubt about it there is placement training from 3 year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good but the campus is very small only one building. Forgot the college they are going to open a new block in two months for CSE. AC hostel is great for boys and girls. There is only one hostel and warden is quite strict. I hear it from my friends, the boys' hostel is not that strict.
Faculty: Core subject staff are great other staff is average, and some faculty members are well educated but some are not that much. 1st-year classrooms are digital. They do not hold Ph.D. degrees and English faculty members are very poor some of them are great. Programming faculty members are also not that much.
Other: There is no campus life and because it has a very small campus. If you are from a big school it feels very small, if you have a high cut-off and need low fees and a low cut-off from 250 to 140. I will recommend this college. Monthly 1 or 2 events are conducted.

A peacefull experience at KIT.
Placements: 92% of students are placed in my course. The highest, lowest, and average packages offered in my course are 12 LPA, 4 LPA, and 6 LPA respectively. Top recruiting companies are Autotex, Microsoft, Corizo, and Caliber Embedded. Most satisfying internships and placements are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: All the labs are well and good. We have various labs such as circuits and devices, engineering practices, analog and digital, and many more enriched lab facilities. Hostel seems to be good with a suitable environment for everyone. Food is good and medical facilities are also good. We have very good coaching for all sports. Not only students, but our faculty members also have many achievements.
Faculty: Almost most of our faculty members are Ph.D holders and all are very kind and well-qualified. They also share knowledge of the industry and make us ready for the industry. Exams are a little easier because our faculty members are ready to clarify our doubts and give deeper assignments which makes it easy to pass the exam.

The staff are good, and placements are excellent. The campus life is enjoyable.
Placements: In the academic year 2023-2024, about 92 percent of students were placed. The packages offered vary with skill level. The highest package offered for ECE students is 12 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for this department are Autotex, Cognizant, Caliber Embedded, Maxsoft, Textro Electronics, and more.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good and strict. Students are expected to follow the rules to maintain a good environment. There is a data limit for the Wi-Fi connection, but every floor has Wi-Fi. The classrooms and labs are good. For the ECE department, there are about 14 laboratories related to core subjects and other labs for software too. The canteen food is good, and there is importance given to sports.
Faculty: The staff are helpful and interested in providing information to the students. The curriculum is based on Anna University regulations, and industry professionals are often invited to conduct workshops on the domain. These workshops are helpful in making us aware of industry requirements and developing our skills based on those requirements. The semester exams are easy if we are consistent in studying and follow the instructions given by the teaching staff.
Other: Electronics and communication is a booming field with many growing opportunities. The campus life is good, and there are many events and celebrations. Scholarships are available for students with a good cutoff (above 170).

My opinion on KIT is that it is a very good college to study, and it is worth it for engineering.
Placements: In the ECE course, 65% of ECE students were placed in the 2024 batch. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the average package was 6.70 LPA. Recruiting companies for ECE include IBM, Zoho, TCS, KGisl, Tessolve, and some more companies. Roles offered are like communication engineer, software trainee, and system engineer. Internship opportunities are nearly 50%.
Infrastructure: Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology consists of more innovation labs, like the product development center, Physics lab, Chemistry labs, electronics labs, electrical lab, idea lab, etc. KIT provides AC and non-AC hostel rooms with free Wi-Fi connections, all-time medical facilities, and a separate ambulance for the hostel. It also provides many sports like handball, cricket, and football.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable, very polite, and kind. They help each student to get good scores. They provide study materials and also make the concepts strong by teaching with smartboards. The pass percentage in our last semester was 90.3%, and they also allow students for industry visits.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics and also due to the many facilities for this course on the campus. There are many events, fests, and an enormous number of connectivity opportunities. The college allows everyone to participate in every event conducted by other colleges too.

Comprehensive academics, placements and infra.
Placements: Over 92 percent of students were placed in 2024 with 150 companies visiting the campus and offering 580 jobs! The average package offered is around INR 6 to 6.5 LPA with the highest package being INR 40 LPA and the lowest being around INR 2 to 3.5 LPA. The top recruiters are Autodesk, Infosys, Accenture and Siemens.
Infrastructure: It is a well-structured infrastructure for both hostel and academics with common rooms with LCD TVs and spacious rooms with beds. There are also well-equipped labs including an airframe laboratory, Chemistry laboratory, and circuits laboratory, along with campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity and separate gyms for boys and girls.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive, which helps the students learn effectively. They are actively involved in research and scholarship, which enhances the learning experience. Regular monthly tests and assignments are conducted after completing modules.
Other: I personally took B.E. ECE as I am interested in embedded systems, and my college helps in my career.

Average infrastructure with good placement and studies.
Placements: In my batch, the highest package was 12LPA, and the lowest was 4LPA. Many MNC companies visited our college and 80 percent of our students were placed. They teach us how to build a career and conduct an entrepreneurship program. They also conduct an exhibition each year and selected projects receive funding for further development.
Infrastructure: The college provides free wifi 24/7 on campus and in the hostels. In the labs each student has their own computer to use for experiments. The hostel is kept clean by a dedicated cleaning crew that works every day. The mess hall staff provides food on time without any delays.
Faculty: In my department only experienced staff are available to guide you. If you face any difficulty in a particular subject you can go to the staff room at any time and they will clear your doubts. Semester exams are difficult but if you study and revise the previous year's question papers and internal papers it will be easy.
Other: I chose this college because I am very interested in VLSI, and I believe that VLSI will become a major field in the future. The college has a good reputation, and the fees and infrastructure are budget-friendly. In addition, the college conducts many events, including festivals, and the cultural and Pongal celebrations are fantastic.
