It is an average college. Take it if no other college is available.

Placements: Hello, I am a Semester 2 student in the history department at Kalindi College. In the last year, there were no placements in whatever department you are in this college. I have never heard of any senior getting placed through college, and let's be honest, in the humanities, you are not going to get placement after just completing UG.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is bad. A few days ago, a fan fell on a professor's head. The hostel has been in the process of construction for a few years already (no progress). The auditorium is not even eye-pleasing, and the campus is not that big. There is no network connection here, especially with Jio SIMs. The canteen has been changed this semester, so the food is better. There is a Nescafe and a Mother Dairy on the college premises. The library and stationery both provide print-out facilities.

Faculty: All the colleges of DU follow the same curriculum. The semester exams in history, I can say, are not tough, with proper research and study, you can ace them. Internal exams can be tough to crack as it is all in the hands of the professors, do not skip tests, assignment dates, etc. Because that is what determines your internal, and an F in internal is an F overall, according to the new NEP.

Other: I would be brutally honest that if you want to come to this college for the epic DU college life, please do not expect it. It's a girls' college and not much happens. Fests are not good. Do not have any expectations.

Review of Kalindi College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Many students got placed in my course. This is the highest course offered in the college. I don't know how many students got internships. Various roles are offered to the students who got placed.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, music room, Nescafe, canteen, library, media room, sports room, Zumba classes, gym, outdoor games, indoor games, NCC, NSS, gardens, etc. All the facilities here are good. They work better for students, and the food quality is also good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. This course provides information about our historical background, and it does make students ready for many industries related to history. Semester exams are great. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA.

I am satisfied with the quality of education provided in our college.

Placements: Placements have been a major issue. There is no placement cell in our college. Neither there are any internship programs. But the college does provide a few extra courses like tourism course was introduced to which many students actively participated.

Infrastructure: The college has poor infrastructure. It needs to provide better washrooms and classrooms. There is pigeon poop everywhere in the classrooms, and it has network and electricity issues. But I did like the library. The library is always clean and has almost every book.

Faculty: I chose Kalindi College because of its academics. Teachers take a keen interest in nurturing their students. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even during the lockdown, teachers provided us with good study materials and solved our doubts. Semester exams are just like the final exams and are a little difficult.

Other: Being an off-campus college, Kalindi College still manages to organise good fests. Plenty of courses are there to choose from and it certainly has some amazingly qualified professors. The crowd is not that good but it doesn't matter. Good quality education matters and it provides the best.

Kalindi college offers a lot of things to grow and it's a good place to study .

Placements: Kalindi college offers a variety of courses and opportunity for working and learning side by side. My college organizes seminars and events through which hundreds of companies hires students and provide them opportunities for their better future and development. It works is a very swift and easy manner so that those who have no background knowledge about the same can also open up with the atmosphere they live in. And who doesn't like petty cash flow though out college life specially of their own. It has summer programs and winter programs as well. It's your choice that if you're comfortable working in college hours and not.

Infrastructure: My college is undergoing construction for hostel. But it has fully developed library, Wi-Fi facilities for students, student help desks, sports room with all sport games including basketball court and football ground, yoga classes, gym with heavy machinery, NCC and NSS, medical room, projector room, science building with science lab, canteen with delicious food, computer room with internet facility, students corner, photostate corner, nescafe and motherdairy booths, fashion society and many more.

Faculty: I pursues for history hons. Course and the faculty for my course in very helpful and awesome. Teachers are understanding and they all teaches very well. We have a senior faculty and they even are ready to solve our personal issues if any. They answer all the queries. We have 2 internal and 2 external exams a year. The curriculum is relevant and to the point. Passing percentage is 33 and above. You just have to be focused and consistent.

Other: I personally had a really great time of my college life which I will carry throughout my life. My batch and classmates were really awesome and I had fun in my PG too. We have diwali melas, college fests, and other events too. My college campus is lively and it has more than 6 parks and gardens. My college location is also a plus point which adds to the list. Studies are great teachers ate helpful we have thousands of opportunities and we also have departments of course and departmental fests too. Like my course of history hons. Has department named Dharohar. Our college also organizes miss freshers and farewell and we also have newspapers and newsletters. It's a good place to study.

Absolutely satisfied with my choice.

Placements: Kalindi college offers placements at average level. Not all students get through, but the bright ones certainly get promotes to good jobs. Few of my senior friends are already placed through kalindi. It is a well known college for history hons students .

Infrastructure: History is a vast subject and if one wishes to learn it through the beginning then a good syllabus infrastructure is a must. My subject is divided very well into social formation ( which is like world from beginning of time ), then hisotry of India ancient .

Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified and have answer to every question. Amidst covid, we have been provided with best of best teaching methods. Assingement help us clear rour concept and do self research. The education doesn't feel like burden. I like their way of teaching .

Other: Hostel will be provided soon. The canteen is very good there's nestled, mother dairy and local canteen. Local food places are at 5 min walk distance. There's a beautiful park right in front of college which has a huge lake. So a good place to hangout after college .

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. How is history hons here? The cutoff is very low, does it have to do anything with that?

The cut off this college is very low because it's location is NCR and most if the children living in Delhi. so that's the reason for low cut off. This college is good for history hons.
