KIIT School of Rural Management conducts its own entrance test to shortlist candidates for admission to MBA programme. KIITEE Management exam is an objective-type computer-based test. The test is conducted for two and a half hours and includes a total of 150 multiple-choice questions. The paper is divided into five sections, namely Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Resoning, English, General Knowledge and Issue of Social Concern. However, KIITEE Management is not the only options, aspirants with a valid score in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT can also get admission in the MBA programme.
KIIT School of Rural Management offers three courses at PG level. These programmes are offered in a full-time mode. Further, the offered courses are MBA in two specialisations, including Rural Management (RM) and Agribusiness Management (ABM) and a PG Diploma in Community Development.
The admission process for MBA at KSRM is applying online and a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in graduation (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, and B.Tech) from a recognised institute. Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree with Allied Farming as the main subject.
Admission to KSRM courses is entrance-based. Candidates need to have a valid score of the KIITEE Management exam or CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or GMAT to secure admission. Aspirants must get in touch with the institute's admission office to enquire regarding direct admissions or management quota seats (if available).

The MBA (Rural Management) is the flagship programme of KSRM successfully continued since 2007. This Programme is judiciously designed in balance with classroom and field based experiential learning.
180 seats are available for students who can do MBA at KSRM. The overall cutoff for MAT is 80 percentile. Candidates with a score of 95 percentile and above in the MAT exam are eligible for admission. Scores from other national level exams like the CAT, GMAT, CMAT, XAT, and KIITEE Management are also accepted by KSRM in addition to the MAT.
