Extremely dissatisfied with the infrastructure of the college, but happy with the professors.
Placements: In Kirori Mal College, the maths hons course has two sections, each with about 45 students. Placements vary by skills, with the highest ranging from 25 LPA, the lowest being 6 LPA, and the average of about 8 LPA. The course offers wide flexibility, opening doors to exams and opportunities beyond mathematics, including roles at companies like Accenture and PwC. Students may pursue internships during their studies or in later years, often in the second and third years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Kirori Mal College is absolutely the worst. The food in the canteen is pretty average. The library is good, but the timings are compatible with most students, as it closes by 6 pm. Hostels are decent. The sight of the arts block is extremely sickening. Wi-Fi doesn't work. The mobile network goes off inside the campus. Classrooms don't even have proper fans. In a class of 30 desks, 3 rows, they have 3 fans. They are thinking that AC is far-fetched.
Faculty: Professors are good, helpful, and knowledgeable. They tend to help when in need. The teaching quality is good, and there's always room for improvement. Out of the 3 DSCs, only probability and statistics are the relevant courses to modern times. Elementary Real Analysis is not worth doing. The concepts from Algebra, like group theory, come in handy when learning new concepts.

One of the best in academics, the faculty members are really good.
Placements: As far as I am aware, none of the students in my department, B.Sc. (hons)Mathematics, got any placement offers. But in the Department of Commerce and in the Department of Economics, few of the students got placed, as far as I am aware. I am not aware of the packages that were offered to them. I am not aware of the roles offered in those departments.
Infrastructure: All the labs are well-equipped, the library has all the relevant books for our courses, and it is well air-conditioned. Classroom infrastructure is not that good, very few classes are air-conditioned. As a hostel facility is not available for everyone, I did not get the hostel, so I can not tell anything about it.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good, very helpful, and highly knowledgeable. Some of the teachers teach really well. Most of them are PhD holders. Regarding my course, it is more research-oriented than industry relevant, but if you consider the sec courses, they are industry-oriented. Semester exams are not that difficult, most of the questions are based on pyqs only. Rarely does any student fail.

Great faculty and good placement record.
Placements: Around 30-40 per cent of the students get placed every year, with the rest aiming for higher studies. The average package is around 6-7 LPA. The students avail internships mostly from LinkedIn or the societies/clubs they are a part of. There is also a placement/internship cell that provides students with internships based on their course for a corporate background.
Infrastructure: The library at Kirori Mal College is a 3-floor building with the ground and first floor being reserved for the books and the second floor for reading rooms/computer labs. It is quite excellent as there is a massive collection of books and the reading rooms are spacious and ventilated, i.e., perfect for studying. The classrooms are a bit on the older side in terms of infrastructure. The walls are a bit crumbly and cracked. The Wi-Fi is also not as prevalent and often lags at times. Facilities for sports are plenty, with a basketball court, football field and a volleyball court.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and are always approachable for any problem of sorts. The course curriculum is relevant as it makes the student industry-ready, as well as making them research-ready, as the topics are equally distributed in pure and applied fields. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the pass percentage is around 63%.

Amazing faculty members but no infrastructure.
Placements: 80 percent of students are placed majorly in B.Com (Hons), Economics Hons, and B.Com. Top recruiters included BCG, Accenture, Deloitte, Future First, and many more. Internships are given at Accenture, Deloitte, and DE Shaw. The roles offered are analyst, researcher, and trainee.
Infrastructure: The facilities for mathematics are amazing. The infrastructure is extremely bad. Classrooms do not have air conditioning. There is cement, ceiling falling, and it is horrendous. The classrooms do not have a projector. Smart classrooms are not available. They can do better with the girls' common room.
Faculty: Teachers are really upto the mark. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum could have been better when it comes to certain subjects like AEC, SEC, and VAC. The internals are pretty difficult. You cannot pass without genuinely studying given that your course is math.
Other: I chose this course because I was open to exploring and did not want to primarily study only theoretical subjects.

My college is really good and its NIRF ranking has also increased to 4th.
Placements: Around 30% of the students from Maths hons are placed. The placement starts from the start of the third year. Deloitte, Google, Amazon, and Wipro are among the top recruiting companies. Around 25 to 30 percent of students get internship opportunities. Our college also provides its own internship for the 2nd and 3rd year students. 1st year students are not eligible and the name of the program is Principal KMC internship scheme (PKIS) which gives a good stipend. Data analyst and business analyst are among the top roles that are offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: The greenery of the college is really nice. The aesthetics of red building of college is really awesome. Our college needs renovation as it is among the oldest colleges in Delhi University. The facilities are good. Wi-Fi is available in library. Girls common room is available. Classrooms are well ventilated and airy, and consist of modern systems like computer labs and projectors. The hostel canteen food is awesome and better than the college canteen, which you should try once.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and very helpful in nature. They are always ready to solve your query. The complete course curriculum is not relevant to the cooperative sector but it played a major role. If anyone wants to continue its higher studies and wants to go into the research field, it is very good. The semester exams are not difficult for those who regularly attend the classes and understand the topic. The passing criteria is the same in all the colleges of Delhi University which is 63%. 66.6% attendance is mandatory to appear in the end semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I am very much interested in mathematics, in solving questions, and in learning new concepts. If anyone wants to know how things happen in the real world. I will suggest you should choose Maths because its a subject that gives you whole knowledge and sharpen your mind. There are many events organized like freshers party, dandiya nights, diwali mela, and many more.

Kirori Mal College a legacy that it carries forward.
Placements: The placement statistics show that around 70 percent of students get placed through the college placement drive. The highest package is around 23.04 LPA, and the average package is above 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are McKinsey, Dell, HP, Deloitte, Amazon, Google, and Meta. Top roles that are offered are solution consultant, senior executive, project leader, and many more.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure truly defines its legacy, old, and vintage. The classrooms are very well-equipped with projectors, air-conditioners, smartboards, high-speed Wi-Fi, and they have a great ambience with very good ventilation. Facilities in the college hostel are top-notch. The quality of food is unmatched, with no restrictions on the quantity of food taken. For sports and games, we have separate equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and helpful. They are always there for students. They are very much qualified and knowledgeable as per their domains. The course is very much relevant to the current job market trends. The course embodies reasoning ability, analytical thinking, growth of cognitive abilities and many more. Semester exams are not much difficult but require consistent practice and regular revisions.
Other: This course is a choice that I wanted to take as per my career goals. The best things are great faculty members whose research work inspires a lot to the students. Teaching methods could be improved by focusing on concept visualisation rather than just cramming the theories without any practical knowledge. There are many college society fests over the calendar throughout but the annual fest is Renaissance which is known for its high craze among the DU crowd.
