KJC- Definitely a good choice.
Placements: There were very limited opportunities to get placed for humanities students, especially during Bachelors. But for the commerce courses, there were placements for which only a select number of students were permitted to sit in. Internships were also up to the student's interest as the college doesn't really aid in acquiring one.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure was beautifully done, although a little cramped. Classrooms were very spacious and ventilated. There were 4 buildings, and all of them were huge with lifts and ramps. The college hostels could not be recommended due to their unnecessary enforcement of rules. Canteens on the college premises were very well managed with all types of cuisines.
Faculty: The teachers were well qualified. They were always prepared for the classes. The curriculum is well developed and covers a variety of topics. The exams are average difficult and most of them pass. Backlogs can be cleared in the corresponding odd and even semesters.
Other: The best things about the course was definitely how versatile it was. Both literature and psychology were well taught although the questionaires used in practical seemed a little outdated. There are numerous events all year round the most awaited ones being the college fest and ethnic day. The crowd is heavily mallu but welcoming. The campus is a little away from the city but well connected to other hubs for shopping and food.
