It is a place where knowledge is shared with assured quality.
Placements: Good companies visit the campus and select talented students. More than 300 companies visit the campus, and more than 1500 students get placed every year with good packages. The college provides good opportunities for students. Companies like L& T, Linda, Syta, RKC, Mahindra, etc., visited the college. More than 50% of the students are satisfied with the placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green and has all amenities. The study atmosphere is good. Labs are well-equipped with all instruments being in working condition for daily use. The library is a place for students to gain knowledge, and more than 30,000 books are available for reference. All the facilities are available for sports.
Faculty: Regular classes are held by the faculty members. Students should have more than 70% attendance for each subject. They use different ways of teaching to enhance many skills of students. Various good quality reference books are used while teaching. Our institute also follows the rules and regulations of the university.

Good college for securing future.
Placements: There were 60% placements in the 2016 batch. MNCs like TCS, Ford, Tata, etc., visit the campus. Approximately Rs. 3 Lakhs of the package is offered on an average. Here, there will be the best coordinator and a full faculty support. Also, lab facilities are made available for conducting exams and interviews.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. Actually, it is a very old campus, but it is one of the best campuses in the Ahmedabad city. Here, the drinking water facility and the toilet facility are poor. Also, the classrooms are like the old government schools. The canteen facility is available is also amazing. The Wi-Fi facility is not very good. But, it is the best college for the campus life.
Faculty: Best faculty members are available for the students. Also, practical lab sessions were conducted, and they also provided training for the job placements. Comparatively less number of faculty members were available w.e.f. to the students. Instruments are not very equipped, and they weren't much available.

A review on L D College of Engineering.
Placements: You will get many opportunities and exposure to the variety of jobs. Like from teaching level in the private colleges to industries as a process engineer. Also, internships are allowed during the tenure, if students take the initiative. The faculty members help in placements for good students from individual sides.
Infrastructure: We have own department building, huge and lighted classrooms, computer lab, and other lab equipment. There are differential scanning calorimeter, CHNS/O analyzer, fermenter, UV reactor, petroleum properties testing equipment, mechanical operation lab, deionization unit, and the large number of property meters such as conductive meter, PH meter, and weighing machines are also available. Also, department gives easy NOC to work in other institutions laboratories if required.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They extend their support to all students and help in all manners. The teachers teach very well. Many times using visual aids and always asks students to prepare topics for presentation, which enhances presentation making skills as well as delivering skills. The student to faculty ratio is 15:1. Many industrial visits and expert lectures are done in our college.
Other: The college has its own techfest named as Lakshya, and the cultural fest named as Spandan, and LDCE is hosting GTU techfest for 3 years consecutively.

Placements: One of the best college for the engineering in Gujarat. Good placement record in the college. Many companies visited for the recruitment. For M.E. student they should not have any backlog in any semester to seat in placement. The companies like TCS, Infosys and many other companies visit for the placement. In M.E. you may get internship opportunities at PRL or ISRO for dissertation work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Each department has their buildings. In the department, the library facility is available. All the sports facility is available on the college campus. Good infrastructure for boys hostel as well as for PG boys also. The canteen and mess facility was available. The quality of the food is very good. Mid in the city so transportation facility is fast.
Faculty: GTU syllabus and supportive faculty. In M.E. they offer the course duration of 2 years which is divided into four semesters. In first two semesters, you have a theoretical subject in last semester you have to make M.E. dissertation. For M.E. dissertation guide is very supportive. They provide good knowledge.
Other: You can take admission in the old college of engineering through GATE and PGCET (ACPC Gujarat). If you are GATE qualified, then you can get stipend around Rs. 12000. For PGCET students no stipend is provided. PGCET exam held in June- July month which has the same syllabus as GATE. Standard of paper is low than GATE paper.
