B.A. (Economics, History) - Batch of 2022

This college has turned out to be a good opportunity for students.
Placements: The placements process for the current batch is currently going on. Some of the top recruiting companies that have visited till now are Mckinsey, Brain & Company, Meesho, FTI Consulting, Accenture, Kepler Cannon, etc. The top role offered is business analyst or consultant. Being from B.A. program, most companies don't open their recruitment process to the department but still, a decent number of students get placed with a good package every year.
Infrastructure: The college has 2 buildings in terms of infrastructure. One has an old structure while the other one is new. The college is equipped with Wi-Fi which works in most areas of the college. It has computer and psychology laboratories. The computer laboratory is equipped with an air-conditioner, and the computers have the software available according to the course requirements. The library has a huge collection of books. It has a reference section where students can study or sleep in silence. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about the hostel facility. The food in the canteen is good with decent prices. Aside from the canteen, it has an outlet of mother dairy and one of nescafe in the college premises. It provides an opportunity to learn and play a good range of sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and insightful. Most of them are there for the students, and they reach out for them. But few teachers do get biased or have a different approach to teaching which may or may not be preferred by the students. Our combination is economics and computer applications. The syllabus is not relevant, but as it is on a basic level. The semester exams are not difficult, if students have studied. Theory subjects do get a bit lengthy, but practical ones are easier to score in.

Review of Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
Placements: I am a fresher, so I don't know much information regarding placements. Though during the orientation, they informed that students would have really good placements. However, the rate of students got placed in the course was more than most of the colleges under Delhi University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college does not meet the expectations of students. The college is a dream come true for everyone. The campus is in such a shabby condition, and the old building is really suffocating. The greenery in the college is not good. The college environment is very hot, and the fans in some classrooms do not work. The college doesn't provide huge classrooms to accommodate many students as 50 students are accommodated in a small classroom, and we can't even fit into it. The Wi-Fi facility is available here, and it works only in specific places in the college, and the same is true for the network on the campus.
Faculty: Undoubtedly teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. But they don't conduct classes properly, and there is no proper schedule of tutorial periods. They don't attend the classes on time and are not concerned about the classes or students waiting for them. Moreover, there are a few faculty members for economics. Visiting lecturers are not appointed to conduct classes, and if they are also appointed, they won't attend classes.
Other: The B.A. programme is a widely chosen course for students who aspire to become UPSC aspirants. I have chosen B.A. with a combination of economics and political science for the same. The study culture here is a little same to Delhi University. But for those who wish to engage in co-curricular activities, then this college is a great platform.

Lady Shri Ram College is very good.
Placements: The college has a placement cell, and it takes the data of students in the first semester itself. The placement cell is also monitored by faculty in charge. The highest placements go to students from economics, maths, statistics and B.Com backgrounds. As the companies that mostly come are data processing, consulting or finance companies. One of the examples would be Ernest and Young.
Infrastructure: Compared to other Delhi University colleges, the classrooms, labs, washroom, seminar room, common room and hangout areas are really good and well-maintained. The sports infrastructure lags a little behind as the college does not have as big sports grounds as other colleges. Medical facilities and library are well-equipped and well-maintained for catering to the requirements of students from time-to-time.
Faculty: One of the best parts of being a student at a good college is that you get really good exposure to varieties of scope in the area you are studying in as the college conducts several talks, workshops and seminars. Even the faculty are so much equipped and knowledgeable that even if you don't like a particular professor, you can get your doubts cleared by another professor. In general, the faculty are really good, and I can vouch for the psychology department at least.
Other: LSR gives you a plateful for extracurricular activities. It has diligently working societies working for winning intra-Delhi university and inter-Delhi university competitions. The college also encourages rather mandates participation in NSO, NSS or NCC as they are very important activities. Other than that, there are several other activities going on inside the college like Because You Matter campaign, Alumna Bazaar, intra-department activities, department trips, etc. which you can be a part of as per your accord.

Highly Satisfied with the overall Experience.
Placements: Students from B.Com and Economics hons got great offers. Even people from the arts got placed. The percentage of people placed were quite high. The highest salary offered was ?40 Lacs per annum by Bank of America. Companies like BCC E&Y, McKenzie, BOA visited the campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. The classrooms were airy and spacious. The sports facilities were good too. There were lawn tennis courts, indoor badminton courts, volleyball court and a basketball court. The library was useful and the nescafe on campus was the relief from heat and sweat!
Faculty: B.A. Programme offered a wonderful course structure where two discipline subjects could have been studied in addition to the foundation and application courses. Teachers were highly qualified and very helpful. The curriculum is really useful for my current Masters programme.
Other: The campus was buzzing with one event or the other all the time. There were academic fests organised by various departments in addition to several talks and panel discussions. There was also an annual fest of the college which offered interaction with a lot of other people from DU.

I am really happy with LSR. The college has a good reputation.
Placements: The highest package offered was 34 LPA. The average package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. It is always good. We have placement cell which provides not only good placements but also offers good internships. The highest internship stipend offered in the last year was 4 lakhs for 2 months. Students did the internship with Google, Nestle etc.
Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure. Every facility is available, such as computer lab, library etc. We have reference section where we can sit and study. There is a new common room to sleep. Sports facilities like volleyball, basketball, shooting, archery, lawn tennis, badminton etc. are provided. The college has beautiful campus; it is very green.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are regular at teaching. The teaching method is interactive for mathematics, as my teacher is the senior most professor. The economics teacher tries to create an interest to study among the students.
Other: The best event of our college is Tarang, which is the cultural fest. Diwali Mela is also good. We have around 10 departments, and each department has its separate fest with lots of competitions, and anyone can participate.

I like the greenery and constant activity of our college.
Placements: As I have recently joined this course, I don't know about the percentage of students who are placed in our course. The salary offered must be around 1 lac per month. I am not aware of the recruiting companies or the top roles offered. Internship opportunities are provided to all students who have subscribed for it. They are qualified according to the requirements of the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library are average. Since I do not reside in the college hostel, I cannot comment on it. Canteen food is quite good and popular among students. I am not aware of medical facilites of the college. Sports and games are available to all students who are part of the NSO on a daily basis. A good variety of sports are offered in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college seem well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is considered to be acceptable across the country and apparently even abroad. Students have the opportunity to explore more on their own and thus become self-sufficient under the guidance of the teachers.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like the subjects which are offered in the BA programme. I wish if they taught the courses more in-depth rather than superficially. The college is known for its dynamism when it comes to extracurricular activities. The campus is lush green, and even the animals are very friendly. There is an annual college fest named Tarang beside the department fest of each department. The college has very active performing societies such as dance, music, drama and debate. Societies are oriented towards social awareness and issues. I am not sure of scholarships offered, but I have heard that most of them who require it are being offered. The college is always buzzing with activity and greenery.

LSR was way better than I expected, the faculty infrastructure and environment.
Placements: The college placement cell is great, which starts with 1st year only by engaging us to lucrative internships by the third year. Students get placed in various MNC's with the salary package up to 18 LPA. Students of economics and CA get the best placements.
Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi at almost all the places except for huts section. Labs and classrooms are well-ventilated with some air-conditioned classrooms. There is a medical room on the ground floor in the old building, and the doctor is available for emergency. Behind the back lawns, there are grounds for tennis, basketball, badminton and various other sports.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are quite compatible and always ready to help. All teachers are well-qualified with PhD, at least M.Ed or M.Phil. The teaching methods keep us involved in something or other. A lot of exposure is provided here. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1, which is good. We were taken to field trips twice a year. The course curriculum is manageable with all the busy schedules.
Other: Most of the events are conducted in odd semesters, and the college is gloomy. Tarang is the most important fest of LSR, which is famous in DU. The college also conducts various extracurricular activities, which also provide cash prizes to cater to the pocket need. The college provides various scholarships based on need and merit of students. The college has convenient connectivity with a bus stop outside the front gate, and the nearest metro station is Moolchand.

With 200 marks, it is highly difficult for you to get admission in any of the private colleges. If you even get the fee would be really high in order to join MBBS course. With 200 marks, it is highly difficult for you to get admission in any of the private colleges
