Dare to Dream to be an Elsa.

Placements: Placements are really good for LSR. Top companies such as BCG, Accenture, and Gartner visit the campus for placements. The highest package for the college is 42 Lacs pa and the highest package for my course is 18 Lacs pa and the lowest package is 4 Lacs pa. Top role offered is that of Business Analyst.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi is available along with computer labs being good. Library is also really good and has a great environment to study along with having a large number of books available. Hostel facility is provided to the first year students only and the food quality is really good.

Faculty: The faculty is well qualified and are post graduates and from top universities such as JNU, DU and IIT. Faculty is really good, the teachers are helpful and are ready to take extra lectures if needed to complete the syllabus. Semester exams are not really difficult and can be cleared easily by studying regularly.

The prettiest campus in entire Delhi university and has a really nice crowd.

Placements: Major portion of students from this batch either go for Masters or prepare for civil service examinations. So the remaining students who sit for placements generally get placed in reputed companies. Out of all the students who sit for placement, 70% get placed through on campus placements and others get placed through off campus placements. The highest package offered is around INR 17LPA, average package offered is INR 8-9LPA and the lowest package offered is INR 4LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include D. E Shaw, JSW, BCG, Amazon, SunEdison etc. Internships are generally open for all courses rather than just for the B.A. students. So mostly internships are bagged by top performers of the course based on their CGPA but also other students do receive offer letter as well. Some of the top roles offered for this course are analyst, consultant, economic consultant, programmer, backend development etc.

Infrastructure: The two major subjects for this course are economics and computer. Economics generally do not require extra infrastructure other than classrooms and smart boards which are really nice in the college. For Computers, there are 3 labs with updates desktops and software. College has Wi-Fi which is accessible to all the students as well. Classrooms and labs are pretty spacious. There is a 2 floor library with a separate reference section where you can go and study in your free time. Apart from the college facilities, LSR allots hostels only to 1st years and physically disabled students only. But the hostel infrastructure is really nice, the mess serves 4 meals a day and has awesome taste. Hostel conducts several events like freshers, bollywood night, farewell etc.

Faculty: Teachers in LSR are really helpful and supportive. They are well qualified and well known people in their own fields. They will always be available to assist you or clear any doubts even one day before exam as well. The course curriculum for B.A. is pretty basic than that of honours courses. But if you are planning for civil service examinations than this course might be very beneficial for you as it does not require too much time and efforts but do help you get ready for competitive exams. The semester exams are not that difficult if you study well. All students successfully pass the exams and with good percentage too.

Other: LSR could be one of your dream college. It has the prettiest campus in the entire Delhi university. Lawn of LSR are referred to as mini mughal garden. Campus is located in South Delhi which is one of the most posh area in entire Delhi, so you may find the living spaces around the campus pretty expensive but the surroundings are very safe. LSR is situated just 700m away from moolchand metro station which is on violet line and 700m away from kailash colony metro which is also the violet line. Apart from studies, LSR offers a wide range of activities, be it sports, performing arts, speaking arts, social service and what not. There are around 30 different clubs and activities that you can be a part of. LSR is a very inclusive space for all the women who wish to join the college, it has clubs and class like women development cell, north east cell, queer collective, entrepreneurship cell etc.

A sneak peak into the life at LSR.

Placements: A number of students are placed from this combination. However, mostly, the economics honors course takes the lead. There is a strict code to not reveal salary packages but top companies like McKinsey have recruited students in the past year. The course is great overall and can earn roles like business analyst, data analyst, and data administrator.

Infrastructure: In our college, there are two libraries and both have good amount of books. Labs are fully functional and have enough laptops and systems. Classrooms are spacious and have fans. There are no air-conditioners. Wi-Fi connectivity is not so good. Hostel is offered on a merit basis to 1st years only but the quality of food offered is top-notch. Nutritious and tasty food is offered. For day students, cafe provides different sorts of food ranging from junk to rajma chawal. LSR has been active in sports too and a number of alumni participate at international level.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good and teachers are helpful in our college. The course makes students industry-ready but there is not a very deep understanding of things compared to the honors course. The exams are of average level with pass percentage being 40% in theory and 40% in practicals.

Other: I chose this course because it makes me industry-ready. An improvement I'd suggest would be making the syllabus a bit deep. There is no comparison when it comes to ECA. Extracurriculars are given a good priority and one can always find events happening on campus.

I am satisfied with our college, good placements, infrastructure, and crowd.

Placements: LSR is ranked number one by the Indian Times for placements. The placements of LSR are good. For the B.A. programme, placements are not that good. If you'll do B.A. Hons, then your chances of getting a change of placement at a reputed company are really high. The average salary package is about 7 LPA to 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. Other facilities include an elevator, a library, a canteen, and beautiful lawns. The hostel is also good, and we get meals four times a day. The only drawback to the hostel is that it's for first years only.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and helpful. They are good. The curriculum is still the old one, and it does not make us industry-ready. Semester exams aren't very difficult. If you study well, it can be easily passed. Most of the questions come from the previous year's paper.

Other: I wish our course had some practical application. The crowd at the college is well maintained. Diverse people from every state come to study here.

Good college for B.A. computer application economics.

Placements: I am a student of computer application and economics at Delhi University, batch 2022-2025. 75% of students got placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and EY.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi with high-speed connectivity is available throughout the campus. Labs are well-equipped and computer labs with the latest software and hardware. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated classrooms with modern teaching ads. Library is vast and well-stocked with a wide range of books.

Other: I am from the 2022-2025 batch of B.A. computer application and economics at Delhi University. I chose this course because it combines computer application and economics. I want to learn about business and technology. There should be more focus on practical skills, better industry connections, and more flexible course curriculum.
