Definitely a place to explore and live.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is highly active. Though I don’t participate in placements, my seniors get placed in very good companies with packages of 12 LPA and higher. I also hear that, last year or so, the total number of placements from LSR crossed that of SRCC.
Infrastructure: My department, i.e., Psychology, has a separate infrastructure which consists of four labs, three tutorial rooms, a lab staff room, and a consultant room. Though the tutorial rooms are small. There are enough to accommodate the groups, and most classes are held in Lab 4, which is very spacious. Students from other departments even dream of attending one lecture here. The library and the reference room (for self-study) have good Wi-Fi connections. The college does not offer hostel facilities right now. As it is under construction, but it will be open soon, most probably next year.
Faculty: Of course, professors of our department are absolutely outstanding, especially senior professors. They are strict, demand your full attention and efforts, which is justified because they also give more than 100 percent. The curriculum designed for us is quite good and helpful in understanding real-life phenomena. Semester exams are moderate if you are thorough with your reading.
Other: LSR is truly amazing. The crowd might overwhelm you at first, but when you find your people here. There is a better place than this. Assignments, practicals, lectures, and attendance make you afraid of it. But trust me, it's all worth it. College is definitely has a positive impact on you. You will become into an incredible woman after graduating from here. This is what I feel, being in my second year of college.

Amazing faculty, the placements are good, and it’s affordable, motivating environment.
Placements: According to the batch of 2024, 80% of students who applied for placement got placed with an average package of 15 LPA. The highest was 25 LPA. The recruiting companies were DE Shaw, Deloitte, BT, and a few startups. As far as internships are concerned, college doesn't offer much in Psychology; rather, we had to apply on our own outside of college. The roles were basically consulting, marketing, and HR.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi rarely works. Classrooms are well lit, but there?s no air conditioning, so it gets really hot during summers. The library is spacious and good. Food is really affordable and is available at all times, from Chinese to North Indian. There’s something for everyone. There’s something for everyone. Medical facilities are amazing coaches for volleyball, badminton, swimming, and equally good. There’s an indoor and outdoor gym as well.
Faculty: The faculty is one of a kind; they really get into the depth of the discipline. And at the same time, they are supporting on a personal level. The classes and assignments are regular and can get a bit rigorous. Yes, the curriculum is relevant; from HR to clinical, one can learn all of it. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty; one can easily score above 8 SGPA.
Other: Psychology has always been my passion, and LSR has increased my love for it. The environment and the people are really encouraging. There are regular academic events in the department. And Noor and Tarang are the mind-blowing annual college fests. One has an opportunity to hold a lot of PORs to learn.

Our college is worth the money paid.
Placements: The placement cell is very active and profound. They provide a lot of opportunities. Students get a variety of placements from various companies and organisations like Deloitte, DeShaw, Teach for India, etc. Top roles offered are project manager, HR, and analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Many students are getting admitted each year, so it becomes challenging. The library is fine. The hostel is soon going to get maintenance work done. The food served in the mess is good. They provide sports facilities. Our college has Nescafe, Mother Diary, and many more along with the canteen. Many tasty street food stalls are available outside the college like bhelpuri and momos.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of each teacher is different. A few teach very well, and a few do not. The course curriculum is relevant, but the pressure is increased with the new curriculum for NEP now.
Other: Our college organises many events like department events, social events, and college-level events. The campus is beautiful from the inside. Our college has greenery. We win the green cup every year. Our college is good in terms of education. Many extracurricular activities are held in our college. They don't allow missing classes every day for social practices like in other colleges, except when there is a fest.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Our college provides very decent placement and internship opportunities. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Reliance, etc. Students who are pursuing economics honors will get high salary packages. The salary package offered for economics honors is 40 LPA. Your CV plays a very important role in getting good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is good with red walls. Classrooms are huge enough. Each classroom can accommodate 50 students. Our canteen provides a little old school vibe. The library and reference section are the best place to study. All gardens and parks are beautiful.
Faculty: Our college has the best faculty members. We have highly proficient and learned professors. They are very helpful, kind, and generous. They clear all our doubts and do meaningful discussions during the class as well as in the tutorials, which are the doubt sessions. Exams are not much difficult and easy to score.
Other: It is one of the best colleges in India in terms of its very good exposure, faculty members, placements, and infrastructure. It is a very segregated college. It conducts many intra-college activities.

Good college, but not a great one.
Placements: Most of the students first pursue higher studies such as Masters, but many have already placed themselves in various internships. Many of our alumni have gotten placements in MNCs like McKinsey and Co, DE Shaw, etc. Some are even studying cognitive sciences at IIT right now.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, laboratories, well-ventilated classrooms with projectors. There is a library with an extensive collection of books. The quality of food available in the mess is really good and very cost friendly too. We do have an infirmary for any emergency medical issues. Our infrastructure for sports is lacking as most teams have to practice outside in auditoriums and pools.
Faculty: As with every institution, our college has its fair share of good and bad teachers. So all in all it depends on your luck as to who you get as your teacher. The course curriculum is mainly theory-based and it doesn't really make the students industry ready although we do have practical and individual research projects conducted to gain a better understanding of the industry. The semester exams in the college are fairly alright, the questions can be challenging but this can be overcome by hard work. The pass percentage is 40%. .
Other: I chose psychology in LSR as it is considered to be the best college in Delhi University for my subject. I wish the syllabus could be improved and modified. There are lots of events and fests happening in our college all the time even excluding the inter-college and intra-college fest.

It is the best college at Delhi University.
Placements: Around 60-70 %of students got placed with several companies. Almost 165 companies visited the campus to offer full-time positions. The top companies are Industry giants like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, EY, DE Shaw, Accenture, and Citibank, among others, were invited to recruit students for a variety of profiles and roles. The placement roles ranged from consultancy to banking and financial services, human resources, and financial research to content writing.
Infrastructure: There is a completely separate department along with 4 Psychology laboratories and projectors. There are various psychological instruments and equipment and a wide array of books. The hostel facility is up to the mark, and the food that is served is healthy and tasty.
Faculty: The faculty is a mixed bag of professors. One can find both good and bad teachers here, and apart from that, the course curriculum is relevant, and the examination process is smooth. The syllabus could have been made more interesting. Overall it is good.
Other: Our batch is full of talented people who are willing to learn more and more. Since the cutoffs for the college go high. Therefore, all the creamy layer of students gets selected because of which the competition is high. The college can make improvements by taking care of the toilets, and the sports domain can be made better. This year's fest, Umang, was enthralling and a good experience as well. The campus life is fun, and the nearest metro station is Moolchand. The college gives students opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities like MUNs, Global Youth, dance, singing, theatre, etc. Various scholarships and free ships are also being given to the ones who need them the most. Overall, the college is good as it is ranked number 2 overall.

Lady Shri Ram College For Women: A magical place to be.
Placements: The placements at Lady Shri Ram College for Women are quite good as compared to other good colleges. Several good companies like Parthenon, Citibank, DeShaw, Samsung etc. come for the campus placements and hire students. The placements keep on going the whole year in two main placement seasons spread across two semesters. Several job profiles like analysts, human resource associate etc are offered to students and the average package must be somewhere around 5-6 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: The college has one of the best infrastructures in all of Delhi University. We have different Wi-Fi connections for the students as well as the teachers to use. The classrooms are well equipped with audio-video facilities, we have one of the best libraries with a separate reference section, a gym inside the campus, a beautiful hostel with around 150-200 rooms, a separate infirmary for the college and the hostel.
The canteen offers quite good food at affordable prices and we also have Nescafe and Mother Diary outlets inside the campus.
Faculty: Lady Shri Ram College For Women is one of India's best colleges. It has one of the best faculty members to teach, in terms of the qualifications they hold, the knowledge they have and their nature.
Different pedagogical methods are used in the classroom, apart discussions, power point presentations etc.
Other: Lady Shri Ram College For Women is hard to get into because of its high cutoffs but is an amazing place to be at. You surely experience the magic of LSR in your three years here, which transforms you not only in terms of your knowledge but also as a person.

No you don't need to have maths in 12th for studying psychology. It does have Statistics as a portion because researches are done in psychology and to evaluate them, behavioural statistics is needed.

Hello Pankhuri,
The cut-off will be released by DU and then you will get the admission. Cancel your admission in Jesus and Mary College and then take all your certificates from Jesus and Mary College. Then visit Lady Shri Ram College and repeat the same process of admission. Then pay the online fee

There are high chances that you will get admission in second cut-off list with this percentage but looking at the trend you should also so take admission in some other colleges. In the following cutoffs, you can transfer your admission to LSR.

Yes, psychology is good subject. And, Lady Shriram College is a very good college and one of top college in south campus. You should go for it. As you do your masters in psychology or clinical psychology, you can get job in hospital as psychologist. All the best.
