LPU BTech course duration is four years. It is divided into eight semesters. The university offers BTech in different specialisations and also offers BTech (Hons) in three specialisations. LPU also provide lateral entry to its BTech courses. After Class 12, the students can apply for the preferred BTech course specialisation.

Selection criteria: Merit-based
Eligibility: A pass in a three-year diploma after Class 10 in any stream or a two-year diploma after Class 12 in a non-medical stream and ELR or BSc (non-medical) or BSc Computer Science and ELR with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for BTech (LE) Construction Technology courses. Specific courses might be required for some of the BTech (LE) specialisations.

The total fee for BTech is INR 4.5 lakh -INR 16 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee. Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) Admission Office B.Tech fee (except CSE/IT branches) is INR 1.40 lac per semester, while the total fee for B.Tech (CSE/IT) is INR 1.60 lac per semester. Step 1: LPU Delhi BTech Application Process 2026
The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. 'Take Admission' option is now available to all applicants. Candidates can qualify for admission through the LPUNEST/ interview process either before or after submitting their application for BTech. Aspirants need to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the LPU application form:
Step 1.1: Visit the official website of LPU, https://www.lpu.in/, and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.
Step 1.2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).
