The reason for its poor placement is its off-campus location due to which the companies do not initiate the visit to this college.

Affordable fees with good faculty, decent infrastructure, and supportive campus life.
Placements: As per official NIRF 2023 data, around 14% of students were placed, though some sources and student reviews suggest a higher range between 60% and 85%, especially in professional courses like Computer Science (Hons). The highest package offered has been reported to be between 7 LPA and 30 LPA, with the average package ranging from 3.5 LPA in most streams, while a few sources mention averages up to 12 LPA. Recruiters such as Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Cognizant, Flipkart, Accenture, EY, and Times Group frequently visit the campus, offering roles in marketing, sales, consulting, content writing, and design. Internship opportunities are also available.
Infrastructure: The college has spacious, ICT-enabled classrooms, a state-of-the-art auditorium, and a fully automated library stocked with thousands of books, journals, and e-resources. Well-equipped science and computer labs support practical learning, while campus-wide Wi-Fi ensures easy digital access. Sports facilities are extensive, with grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games, along with a gym and wellness center. The college also has a girls' hostel, Vidyottama. It is well-maintained with amenities like Wi-Fi, common rooms, pantries, and laundry services, though there is no boys' hostel.
Faculty: The teaching quality is appreciated by students, as classes often combine traditional methods with ICT-enabled learning tools, making the lessons more interactive and easy to grasp. The course curriculum, being part of Delhi University, is considered updated and relevant, covering both theoretical and practical aspects to give students exposure to real-world applications. While it provides a strong academic base, whether it makes students fully industry-ready often depends on their own involvement in internships, add-on courses, and skill development opportunities offered by the college. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, aligned with the DU pattern.
Other: The best things about my course are the updated curriculum, supportive teachers, and opportunities for internships and projects that add real-world exposure. However, I feel there is still scope for improvement in terms of more industry collaborations, skill-based workshops, and placement opportunities to make students better prepared for the job market. Beyond academics, the college has a lively campus life with cultural events, departmental fests, and sports activities that bring students together. The annual fest adds vibrancy to the campus, and the crowd is diverse and engaging.

I am satisfied with the staff members.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in this course is about 35%. The students of this course got the highest package of 15 LPA, and the lowest package of 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Okie Dookie, Samridhi Private Limited, and many more. 70% of students got internships in these companies. The top roles offered are accountant, financial analyst, tax consultant, and banking professional.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is well-planned and developed. The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi, and the classrooms have smart boards. The labs are updated with the latest technology, and there's an Apple lab. The food in the mess and canteen is freshly prepared and delivered in good packaging. The campus also has medical facilities and organizes an annual sports meet.
Faculty: Teachers are disciplined because they are regular in lectures and always teach with sincerity. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready for industrial work. The semester exams are average, and the passing criteria is to score 40% marks in each subject.
Other: I have joined this course because I have great interest in financing and the stock market. This course will improve my coding and communication abilities. The campus organizes events such as Carbuncle, Maestros, and other cultural events. Students are also sponsored with a scholarship according to their marks in the 12th standard.

College was good with decent studies and fest, but placement and practical part need improvement.
Placements: I was a student of B.Com at Delhi University. Around 40% students got a placement. Highest salary package was nearly 12 LPA. Lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Average salary package was around 5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, EY, and KPMG came. Some students got internships at PwC, HDFC, and ICICI. Roles were analyst, tax assistant, and audit support.
Infrastructure: Our college had a good classroom with a fan and a board. Wi-Fi was also there, but it doesn't always work well. Library was big and useful. Hostel was okay, food was average in mess, canteen had some good food. Medical room was there. Sports ground was also available for cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knew a lot about the subject. Teaching was okay, some teachers teach well, some just read from a book. Course is fine, but it is not industry-ready. Exams are not so hard if you study regularly, so passing is easy. Around 85% students pass every semester.
Other: I chose B.Com because course was good, but more practical was needed. Fests were nice.

Review of Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University.
Placements: Well, B.Com (Hons.), the placement marks for this course at my college, if you're a general category, then the minimum marks are 694 marks in 2024. The average package at my college was at 4.5 LPA, and the maximum was at 8 LPA-9 LPA. One of my friends in 2nd year got an HR Internship at Deloitte, while some did a social internship, and in-house internship was also offered. I wish for in-house internships, but I had some time issues, so I didn't go for it.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available all day, but don't have great expectations. However, an exception to the library is that the Wi-Fi there is great, and it is one of the best places in the college. There is only a girls' hostel and I don't have many friends at the girls' hostel, but I do know that I don't have great expectations regarding food, but I guess it's common for every hostel to carry this stereotype.
Faculty: In my 1st semester, the faculty was great, but in my 2nd semester, it just switched from earth to sky this time as the faculty felt cursed, but I hope 2nd year professors would be good enough. If u can even consider studying 3 weeks before exams, then I can assure you that you will get it, but make sure to give all your practicals on time and up to maximum honesty for maximum internal marks. Hope this advice helps.
Other: I wanted to pursue a professional exam. I wish the NDP were not implemented, as the additional subjects don't feel good or seem to provide any kind of value. The event was below average, but if you are able to handle a Haryanvi crowd, then you can enjoy it here, as I remember last time Ajay Hodda had come for our fest.

The college has good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement here is basically for sales and marketing. Companies like Accenture, Genpact, etc., and many more companies visit the campus for recruiting. The company arrives at college every year, and there is a play fair organized by the placement cell of the college.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure compared to other colleges of Delhi University, it has a lift, an auditorium, and many more things. The hostel here is for only girls, and there is a helpful crowd. Every month, there are seminars in the college, and the college has many societies.
Faculty: The faculty members here are nice, supportive, and helpful. They help students in every possible way. Their teaching style is very interesting, and the student union of the college helps students with any kind of problem they are facing and tries to solve it as soon as possible.
Other: In the recent fest, Ajay Hooda performed, and there was a DJ night on the occasion of farewell.

This is often a misconception amongst many students. This often stems from the fact that most colleges in Delhi University require students to have maths in their class 12th. However, there is a world outside of Delhi University which a student can explore.
