Good college for professional courses with decent placement support. Vibrant campus life.
Placements: Approximately 80% of eligible students got placed. The highest package from my batch is 27 LPA. The highest package from college is 49 LPA. Top roles offered for graduates from this course include business analyst, software developer, consultant, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-stocked library, well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The hostel rooms are generally decent, with two students per room, and include basic facilities like a bed, table, and almirah. The college has a doctor's clinic on campus for basic medical aid. For sports, there are facilities for outdoor games like cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable in theory, and a few are excellent, approachable, and supportive. The curriculum is relatively modern and includes relevant subjects like AI and ML. It is not fully helpful to be fully industry-ready. I follow a curriculum of AKTU (affiliated). There are 2 mid exams, 1 pre-university exam, and then university exam. Between semesters, there may be a surprise test for students.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE for my passion for technology and its career prospects. The best aspects of my course are the supportive faculty and modern curriculum. I wish there were more practical knowledge from the faculty. The college has a strict 90% attendance policy and hosts annual fests like the Winter Carnival. Sports events include APEX and the Maharana Pratap Premier League (MPPL), and there are coding competitions like Intra SIH and Intra Hackathon. The campus crowd is mainly from nearby cities like Kannauj, Farrukhabad, and Kanpur. The college also facilitates government and merit-based scholarships.

It is a well-rounded institution offering diverse programs from engineering to health sciences.
Placements: About 90% of students get placements every year and that is up to us how we can enhance our skills and get how much package. Many companies come every year and select students for their work. We can also apply for off-campus placements as we wish.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are non-AC. CS labs have full Wi-Fi and computer systems may require some maintenance. Labs are air-conditioned. The discipline is mandatory in the college. The quality of food is satisfactory but sometimes not tasty. Mess is hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. We get digital notes and topics can also cleared digitally in some subjects. Courses get finished on time, and extra classes are also arranged before exams for weak students.

I chose B.Tech CSE due to my interest in IT. The best thing is basic exposure to programming.
Placements: Around 50% students got placed in my batch. The highest package is about 6 to 7 LPA, the lowest is near 2 LPA, and the average is around 3 LPA. Top recruiters included HCL, Wipro, and Informatica. A few got internships in mid tier firms with roles like trainee and developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Labs and classrooms are usable but not modern, Wi-Fi is limited, and the library is okay. Hostel facilities are basic with simple food, average mess quality, and limited sports facilities. Medical support is minimal, so it is average.
Faculty: Faculty is average, some teachers are supportive, but overall, teaching lacks depth. Curriculum is outdated and not very industry oriented. Exams are of moderate difficulty, mostly theory based, with around 70 to 80% pass rate due to lenient checking as a summary.
Other: The fees charged by the college are average in return. Placements and facilities could be better, but basic academics and exposure are provided. Students need to put extra effort outside the curriculum to get industry ready.

There are good placement and internship opportunities for CSE students
Placements: In this year, 2024-25, the placement drive is good. Almost 95% of eligible students get placed in the CSE batch. Till now, the highest package is 20 LPA and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Informatica, etc., for the role of software engineer. Some students get internships at Amazon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is good. Wi-Fi connectivity is good all over the campus. The size of the class is normal, with a capacity of 50 students in each class, and there are 10 sections in the CSE branch. The library and labs are well-maintained and easy to access. There are two hostels for girls and two for boys, and there is a common as mess and it is very clean, the quality of food is also very good. There is also a medical facility here.
Faculty: Most of teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also very good. This CSE course curriculum is relevant, and it also helps students fulfill industry requirements. The passing percentage is 40% in each subject, and it’s easy to pass.
Other: Actually, I want to get admission in a government college through CSE, but I don’t get it, so I choose this college because, in the private sector, this is the better option over others. As I want to become a good software engineer and their curriculum is as per the industry, there is no issue. As IIT Kanpur is very near, it is very easy to make intellectual friends.

    Maharana, a glimpse of success.
Placements: Approximately 40 percent of the students are placed; the rest are still unplaced. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 118,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies are HCL, Informatica, Webkul, Lumen, Cedcoss, NEC, and Nashtech. Roles offered were Python Developer, GET, Trainee, Sales Associate, Business Developer, and GCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in the college campus as well as the hostel. Labs were well furnished with updated systems and were fully air-conditioned with proper seats and high computational systems with configured software. The library was well furnished, though not air-conditioned, but had a great set of books and an enriching environment where you can study peacefully.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was amazing. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant and helpful to make me understand the tools and techniques. The pass percentage is 33, and exams were of medium level, not very tough to pass and not very easy to clear without study.
Other: This course is the best course, and the branch was the emerging technology itself. More detailed topics I would add to my course to make it effective and interesting. Events and fests are amazing but happen only once a year; events are amazing but are very few in numbers.

Review of Maharana Institute of Professional Studies.
Placements: Placements are good in MPGI. 70% of students get placed in different companies. Infosys is the top recruiting company.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. There are big grounds and the best canteen. The mess is also very good, and they give high priority to hygiene.
Faculty: Faculty is very supportive and always helps weak students to rise. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in the college.
Other: I would like to be a software developer, so I decided to do a B.Tech in CSE. Since I was a child, I have had a great attachment to computers.
