Placements are good in our college.
Placements: Placements are excellent in college. Nearly 30 companies visit for our course. Pre-placement training is conducted in our college. That helps to easily grab the highest package job offers. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent, and there are many facilities provided by our college management. They provide good Wi-Fi connectivity for labs and spacious classrooms. They provide hostel facilities and medical facilities. They encourage sports like volleyball, etc.
Faculty: The curriculum is updated regularly according to college rules. There are many faculty members in college. Teachers are very useful to us. They are well-educated, well-trained, and Ph.D. certified staff. They are knowledgeable for their students' bright future.

All about Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology.
Placements: MGIT College has a good reputation in terms of placements, and the college environment is good; nearly 85 percent of students are placed in top companies, with packages ranging from 4 lacs to 30 lacs per annum. And many students got internship opportunities and the roles offered were intern and designer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our department, as well as the classrooms and labs, are provided with Wi-Fi facilities and have a good volume of libraries. The facilities at the hostel are good, the food quality and quantity are acceptable and there is a canteen, a medical hall and a sports field.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and they are well qualified, have much experience and are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and understandable, and the course curriculum is relevant to the subject and has many workshops and booster camps for students to gain practical knowledge. The semester exams are very tough and strictly held.
Other: The events and fests are held very well, the crowds on campus are larger, the surroundings are good and well maintained and there are many extracurricular activities available.

The college is a reputed institute, and can be improved more to get the first position.
Placements: In our course, around 50-60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 PLA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Blackridge, etc., visit our campus. Almost 30-40% of students get internships at Wipro, Oorja Energy Services, etc. The top role offered is trainee engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities. Digital classrooms are available. Wi-Fi is available. Computer labs and CAD/CAM labs are provided. A library and private canteen are available. A health center is available on campus for any kind of emergency. CBSE has a combined hostel for MGIT and CBIT students with all basic facilities.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are experts in their respective fields. The teaching quality is good. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 80-85%.
Other: I chose this course because it is versatile. It includes 60% of mechanical, 25% of electronics, and 15% of computer subjects. The college needs to replace old lab equipment and remove irrelevant experiments from the course. Every year, a college fest is conducted for three days called NIRVANA. Scholarships are provided only to special-caste candidates. There are various clubs provided for different kinds of interests, like dancing, singing, the arts, etc.

Great infrastructure but lack of placements
.
Placements: Around 50% of students get placements. As far as I know, the highest package is around 15 lacs and the least is 1 lac. The top recruiter is Byjus, TCS, etc. Having a hope of getting an internship from college is useless. We have very less or no internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good. We have Wi-Fi facilities at the gym and library. Classrooms are neat and digitalized. The library is equipped with all the necessary books. I have no clue about the hostel facility but I heard it ain't that good. The canteen food is great and tasty. We have both indoor and outdoor sports.
Faculty: The teachers who teach us are very well qualified. Most of the teachers are friendly except for a few who are good at teaching but the way they teach is outdated and they are not good at student relations. Well no college can make students industry ready but I can say with little effort from the student side they can be industry ready

Mediocre college provides a bit to no practical approach towards subjects.
Placements: I am from batch 2016, according to the 2016 Placements report, around 479 students got placed with the highest salary package of 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. TCS was a top recruiter and recruited 198 students across all the streams for the role of an assistant systems engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus not enabled with Wi-Fi at the time. The food served in the canteen was very mediocre, and the canteen can accommodate only 30-40 students at once. Labs need maintenance. Classrooms have often had no power. The good thing is that the library has a wide collection of textbooks and research materials. Most of the faculty members were not adept with the technology and changing times.
Faculty: Most of the staff teach only the theoretical part of the subjects and could not help the students with the applications of them. The course curriculum for mechatronics did not integrate both mechanical and electronic subjects. They were rather taught individually and were not as clear as per the real-time projects.

Immensely satisfied with the faculty, good placements in 2015, good infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: The placements were good for our batch as well as our senior and junior batches. Around 76% of the students got placed in different companies. The highest salary offered was 6LPA and the lowest salary offered was 3.2LPA. The roles depend on the companies which visited our college. Yes, there is a placement cell in D block. It is very useful and efficient to utilize for students.
Infrastructure: The college has labs, classrooms, the library in B block, medical facilities available in A block. There is a sports and games cell in C block available in the campus. The quality of labs and classrooms were good. The quality of food in the canteen was good. The hostel rooms are good. They have different blocks for first years and the remaining years. One block is for first years and the second block is for remaining years only. No, I didn't face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college. It is located in Gandipet, not in Himayat Nagar.
Faculty: The faculty was helpful and all of them were qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. They used LCD projectors for particular topics to teach the students. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. We get to go to some industries such as BHEL for industry exposure. The course curriculum would be very helpful.
Other: The college has events and it conducts fests for every department but the main college fest is NIRVANA. It may take place in March. We have buses from Mehdipatnam. If you boarded the Shankarpally bus, it'll directly stop at college. They encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities.

A great place to study with a decent placement record.
Placements: The placements are good for someone who is good at coding. There are a decent number of companies that visit MGIT. Students need to work hard on communication and soft skills to get placed. Almost 50 percent got placed last year from mechatronics. This year, there was less placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fantastic. The college has great maintenance facilities. All kinds of labs are well-equipped. Lush green campus with a lot of open space is available. Library, medical facilities are good. The sports room can be improved. Overall, it is a great place for students to be, infrastructure-wise.
Faculty: The faculty for mechatronics are highly qualified. They possess in-depth knowledge of the subject and they are ready to help students at any required time. Great industry exposure is available to mechanical and mechatronics students. The way of teaching was good. Teaching students the concepts in an innovative manner is what faculty love at MGIT. They provide constant guidance during project work. The student to faculty ratio is 3:1.
Other: Events wise, the college is really good. Yearly, Nirvana is conducted. Ekalavya is the sports fest. Department-wise fests are also conducted. Different clubs like music, literary, etc. are present. They keep organising one or the other thing.
