Overall, the college is good for engineering and diploma studies, and it is worth the investment.

Placements: The placements of the mechanical and civil branch are very good. The students of the computer science branch can get placed in Wipro and Infosys, and biotechnology students get placement in various laboratories across India. Overall, the placement team works hard for ensuring that the students get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MITS is very good. We had a very good laboratory, and the classrooms were also very spacious, and they have now built a mega food park in the college campus itself. The college also had a nice canteen which is large. The hostel is also very nearby, located just opposite of the college, and lots of open space is there for the students to play various games.

Faculty: The courses offered at MITS are B.tech, M.Tech, BCA, B.Sc biotech, M.Sc biotech, MCA and Diploma degrees. The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University, Rourkela. The faculty members of the college are also very helpful, knowledgeable, and are always eager to help the students when needed.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities. I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Some students got placed from our college in Wipro with a salary package of 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. The hostel is very clean and secure. Our college has a library. Free Wi-Fi is available in our college. Our canteen is very good, and its food is healthy.

Faculty: Our teachers help us to score good marks in exams. Students can pass exams easily because of good teachers.

Other: More than 10,000 students are studying in our college.

Totally dissatisfied because of infrastructure, placement, faculty and course curriculum in 2016.

Placements: Placement was very poor in that college. Only 10 to 15percent students were placed. No placement cell. And very few company come in college and some companies take interview and didn't give joining letter. The highest salary given by company is 9000 and the lowest is 7000.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very old. And in canteen few food items were available. In labs all computer are very old and few computers were not working. Hostel is also very poor no cleanliness in hostel. Very dirty hostel and in mess food were very poor quality and tasteless food. And no convenience facility.

Faculty: Some faculty were good but some were average and the main thing is they focus more in oriya student instead of other state student. They didn't complete syllabus at the given time and the take too much extra classes. And we didn't get any industry exposure.

Other: No events organised by college. Only one function 'Take Fest' organised by college.
