The college of engineering.

Placements: Placements are good. I was checking after getting admission to this college in the last 5 to 6 years. 85% of students got placed. Even big companies come to give placements to the students like Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Bajaj Motors, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure for both study and hostel rooms. Labs are so good for engineering students. Classrooms are well-maintained and the library is cool. There is good quality in hostel like discipline, well-wasted staff, quality food in your canteen, good medical facilities, personal cab for emergency medical services, making more sports and games good in college, having a good playground, and a good environment.

Faculty: Faculty members are so nice and humble. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a curriculum-related course. We have a vast knowledge of management and manufacturing sites. Exams are conducted in a good way, and the semester exam is so good. 98% of students passed.

Other: I am curious about business and that's why I joined the B. Tech program at this college and it is good also. The best thing is that this is a multi-dimensional and professional course that can help me get a job or do my own business very smoothly. I wish for college courses to introduce more and more practical for MBA graduates, which can help students in real life. Each year, Eutopia a college celebration of every fest is there. A good connection to the city main road and surrounding area is not disturbing. Students do get their scholarships.

Review of Konark Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: About 85% of students are placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahendra, etc., recruit students from CSE branch. Top role offered is software developer. This college is best for CSE, etc. All students get placed but other branches placement rate is low.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good as I stayed for 6 months. Three students are allowed to stay in one room in 1st year. Every room has a separate bathroom. The food in the canteen is very good. Separate 2 cars are assigned for hospital facility.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly. They teach well and I am satisfied. The course curriculum is industry-oriented, so it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very tough if we do not study properly. Exams are conducted very strictly. Exams are conducted by BPUT Rourkela College.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the IT field. Events like Utopia and DJ Night are organised by students. Fees for SC and ST categories are Rs 20,000 which includes stipend.

I am absolutely satisfied with the fee structure.

Placements: About 90% of students are placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc., recruit students from the CSE branch. The top role offered is software developer.

The college is value for money.

Placements: About 60% of students were placed from my course. The highest and average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.20 LPA. The top recruiting companies here are Raybiztech, Jaro Education, etc. None of the students got internships from my course. The top role offered in my course is a software developer.

Infrastructure: The lab facilities are available but not used mostly. From 1st year to 2nd year, the classrooms are conducted every day by the faculty members, but after that, all faculty members listen to only those students who don't want lectures. There are no rules for the hostel, and food is overall below average because many students give money to the mess in-charge to make chicken and other dishes in front of all students. Medical facilities are good, and for sports, only cricket is available.

Faculty: All teachers here are helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is provided to students to make them industry-ready. It makes students ready for the industry, but if the industry is not good, they can't join that industry. Semester exams are very easy here. The pass percentage is 40% of marks.

Other: I am interested in technologies and their relevant things, so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is coding which I like always. I want them to teach or add only those topics that will be useful in the industry. Some events are organised like Saraswati pooja, farewell party, annual function, etc.

The college provides very poor service. I do not recommend anyone join this college.

Placements: About 10% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. A top recruiting company that visit our campus for our course placements is Oditek. None of the students from our course got an internship in any company.

Infrastructure: The college provides very poor service and quality of the facilities in our hostel. Quality of food is served in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports and games are provided by our college. The infrastructure of classrooms and library are very bad.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are not helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also very poor. They do not have proper knowledge which they provide to the students.

Other: I have chosen this course because of my relative brother. Everything should be improved in our course. Events and fests organised at our college are poor. Campus crowd is also poor.

No learning environment, very poor placements, below average faculty members and facilities.

Placements: Placement is very less. Except Infosys, no other known companies come for placement. Not more than 3 to 4 students get placed each year. Their initial salary is not more than 12 to 20 thousand. College does not provide any internship for students, they have to manage their own.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good enough but facilities are poor, computer systems in labs are outdated, Wi-Fi does not work properly, the library facility is good but classrooms are a mess as fans do not work properly. Hostel facilities are okay but the quality of drinking water is not good, purifiers are there but they aren't cleaned regularly. There are medical facilities. Mess and canteen is there but the quality is not good enough. Good food is a challenge here. College does not conduct sports or games event other than Cricket. Students have organised sports events on their own without any help from college management.

Faculty: Here is a lack of well knowledgeable faculty members, their present faculty members are okay but they are also not able to complete the total course of a semester. Except a few faculty members teaching quality of all other faculty is very poor. The course curriculum is not so relevant as every student has to do extra courses for the computer languages to be ready for outer industry.

Other: I chose this course because I was and am interested in this course, I have always wanted to learn more about programming, computer languages and software. The best thing about this course is that you get to learn about languages and software by using which you can develop your own software as per your interest and your creativity. You get to present your creativity to life on the computer. Course is very good I wish if new languages like python were also included in it with more practicals. Events, fest, Scholarships etc. are not provided here, no extracurricular activities for course.

I am satisfied with faculty, infrastructure and others. The college also provides a good education.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed through campus placements. Companies provide the lowest salary packages was 3-10 LPA. The top roles in our course are offered based on skills, like basic knowledge of students and other skills. The college doesn't provide any internships to students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and there are air-conditioned labs and huge accommodation capacity library. Hostels are really good for students. There are two huge playgrounds for sports, but the canteen is a little disappointed here. The college is located near NIST (National Institute of Science and Research) and IIT Bhubaneswar.

Faculty: All the teachers are good at knowledge, and they have good teaching skills as they always use new techniques to teach. But some teachers are not good. Our course helps to know better internal processes of computer and systems.

Other: I like computers science, so I chose it.

Placements are not up to the mark, but faculty members are well-equipped with knowledge.

Placements: Placements of this college are below average from my point of view. Hardly 4-5 companies visited our college every year, and they have placed 5-10 students from every branch. They offer an annual package or 3-5 LPA. Generally, startup companies like Satyam, Hexaware, Think and Learn, LG, etc., visited our campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average, and there are separate buildings for each branch. Our college is spread across 30 acres, and there are separate hostels for boys and girls. Our college provides 24*7 Wi-Fi facility. There are separate cricket ground and basketball grounds. Labs of each branch are in good condition, and they have well-maintained equipment.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. They are highly qualified, well trained and quite friendly with students which makes us comfortable to ask any queries. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. We didn't get any industry exposure, but I hope these problems will be solved in the coming years.

Other: Every year, our college organises a cultural fest named Utopia. Students participate in this fest and showcase their talents in front of the whole college. The strength of our campus is 1200 students. This college is located in a remote area, and we don't get disturbed by the hectic atmosphere that we see in the city. Our college organises many sports events for cricket, football, basketball, etc.
