Good data science course with a decent campus and supportive faculty.

Placements: I belong to the B.Tech Computer Science Engineering batch, and my passing out year is 2029. In our course, around 60 to 70 percent of students got placed through campus placements. Most of the placements were from mass recruiting companies. The highest package offered in our course was around 10 to 12 LPA, offered to a few top-skilled students. The lowest package was around 2 to 3 LPA, and the average package was around 3 to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: According to me, the facilities and infrastructure available for my course and department are decent and sufficient for learning. The campus has Wi-Fi in academic blocks and hostels, but the speed is average. Computer labs are available with enough systems and the required software for practical classes, and they are maintained properly. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors and smart boards, which help in better understanding. The central library is good and has textbooks, reference books, journals, and digital resources, which are useful for exams and projects.

Faculty: According to me, the teachers in my department are mostly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them explain the concepts clearly and are available to clear doubts. Some teachers are average, but overall, teaching quality is good. The faculty tries to make us understand both the theory and practical parts of the course. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and covers important topics required for the industry. It includes practical assignments, projects, and coding tasks, which help students gain hands-on experience. However, to be fully industry-ready, students need to do extra self-learning and practice outside college.

Other: According to me, I am from the data science course batch passing out in 2029. I chose this course because I am interested in data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and I want a career in data science. The best things about my course are that it covers Python, R, SQL, statistics, machine learning, and practical projects, which help in understanding real-world data problems. The teachers are mostly supportive, knowledgeable, and explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is relevant to the industry and helps students gain coding and analytical skills.
