Choose the college carefully.
Placements: Overall, the placements aren't held in our college. As on the role of TPO, there is a TPO in our college, but it doesn't take responsibility to get students' placed in the companies. Students are trying on their own to get placed in various companies. There are no placements in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but all the facilities are not good. There is a Skyfi lab, but now, it is used as a classroom. The quality of the laboratories is good. All the mechanical labs are well-maintained, and all the instruments and machines are available. Overall, the infrastructure of our college is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good but not to the level where the college advertises itself. We follow the curriculum of IKGPTU, but it is not good. It is useful for doing the non-AICTE course. If you are doing the AICTE course, then this college is not worthy of taking admission.
Other: Cultural events with local dances and other festivals are held in the college.

Satisfied with our college because of the faculty members.
Placements: Placements in MIMIT are average. Very few companies visit our college to offer placements. Every year, around 40% to 45% of the students get placed through college placements. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the lowest salary offered was 1.5 LPA, and the average salary offered was around 2 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Robert Bosch, etc., visit our college to hire students. A very few students got the internship. Most of the students opted for training in institutes like Vector.
Infrastructure: The college provides a high-speed Wi-Fi facility for 24 hours. Classrooms are well-furnished, and the library is completely digitalised. Medical facilities are available, and an ambulance is also available is there is an emergency. Sports grounds and gymnasium are available. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained. Food available in the canteen and mess is average. Hostel rooms are average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers focus on the overall clarification of the concept. The teaching quality is excellent. Student to faculty ratio is around 30-35:1. Teaching methods used by them are excellent. We visited some industries for exposure. The course curriculum is useful.

An awesome college with amazing faculty.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Our seniors got placed with an average package of 3-5 Lacs per annum. 50% of the students were placed. Companies like Jio, Airtel, Lava, Oppo and Ericson visited our campus last year. Some of the students did internships with some companies in Chandigarh, and later, got placed in the same companies. TPO cell is present; it is very useful and very efficient.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi facility is available 24*7 on the campus. Medical facilities are available, and even an ambulance is available in case of emergencies. Labs are well-equipped and air-conditioned. Classrooms are well-furnished and well-ventilated. Quality of food is poor. The hostel rooms are good. I didn't face any other difficulty but food.
Faculty: The faculty are very supportive and helpful. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are great. The head of our department is very supportive and strict as well. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. We have visited some industries in the past. The course curriculum is quite useful and the basis of all the developing technologies.
Other: Many scholarship schemes are available for students. Events in MIMIT are organised grandly.

It is a very good government college.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Some of the students got placed in companies like Airtel and Jio. Their jobs are field jobs, but they got good packages of around 4 LPA. Moreover, the jobs are in nearby areas. The ATPO of our department is very supportive. He helps us in every possible way.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. There are two different buildings. One for ECE Mech and Applied Science and the other for CSE, IT, MBA and other courses. The classes are well-equipped and well-furnished. Labs are fully air-conditioned. Hostel is average. Mess food is not good.
Faculty: Faculty in our department are very good. They are highly qualified. They have a teaching experience of more than 15 years. They opt for the easiest way to explain the concept to the students. The student-teacher ratio is 25:1. The staff in our college are very helpful. All the staff are appointed by AICTE.
Other: Fee waiver scheme and CM scholarships are available for the students.

Completely satisfied with this college, and it is highly recommended to others.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. Most of the students got placed in Noida based company. It was a VLSI chip designing company. Initially, the salary package was around 4 LPA. TPO cell supports the students in every possible way. The administrative staff is supportive to students.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available for 24-hours in the college as well as the hostel. The hostel is not very good but satisfactory. The labs are well-furnished, equipped, and fully air-conditioned. The library of our college is tremendous as it is fully digital. Everything is available online.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are quite helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable to teach. Their quality of teaching is the best out of the teachers I have met so far. Their teaching methods are according to the requirement of the present time. We often visit the industries.
Other: Every year, many events are organised on the campus. A few scholarships are provided for the eligible students.

The placements are average. The college is good for studies.
Placements: The placements conducted by the college are poor. After B.Tech, many students from our department joined some private training institutes to get placed. The average salary package offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Most of the students were not placed. There is a placement cell in our college.
Infrastructure: The buildings are good, and the hostel facility is average. The mess is not at all good. I highly recommend you to join a PG. This is a government college, and it is approved by AICTE. There is a digital library. The labs are air-conditioned, and the classrooms are well-furnished. The surroundings of the campus are good. The college is located in a residential area named Puda colony.
Faculty: The student to teacher ratio is 30:1. The faculty members are very experienced and qualified. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They give moral support to the students. They treat the hostelers and day scholars in the same way. They give counselling to the students who are in a depression. The staff members in the admission cell are very cooperative.
Other: The college offers scholarships to meritorious students as well as the students who belong to reservation category.

The college is good, and it is highly recommended to others.
Placements: Placements in the college are above average. Placements of my seniors were okay. Our seniors got placed at reputed companies with salary package around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Around 40% of my senior students got placed on the campus. This year, our batch is going to face campus interviews. NCR companies visit our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college buildings are very good. Classes are well-furnished. The library in the college is completely computerised and digital. The Wi-Fi facility is available for 24x7. Sports grounds are also available in the college. The quality of the food in the mess and canteen is average. Bus stand is near to our college, so transportation is very easy.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and well-qualified. The treasures of their knowledge are never-ending. They opt modern methods to teach. They go for the present technology. We got industrial exposure. The curriculum consists of all the basic subjects. Moreover, every year, some new subjects are introduced into our course curriculum.
Other: Here, plenty of events and fests are organised on the campus.

Review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.
Placements: There are no placements in our college. I haven't seen any placements in 3 years of my college life. No one got placed in a good company with a good package. Even companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., come to our college to conduct placements. They offered a package of Rs. 12,000 per month and the location of the job offered was in Delhi. No one can afford to live in Delhi with a salary of Rs. 12,000.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is good. The labs in our college are okay. We have sufficient equipment in the laboratories. Computer labs are fully air-conditioned. There is a digital library, and it is air-conditioned. There's a separate audio-visual room in the library. The hostel facility is average. Food offered in the canteen is worthless.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are diverse. HODs are very experienced, and their way of teaching is brilliant. They not only teach the old technologies but also they let us know about the present technology. The curriculum consists of basics. We cannot be up to the mark without knowing basics, but it is not very useful as per the current trends.
Other: Every year, many events and fests are organised in our college. 3-4 kinds of scholarships are available for the students.
