Great learning environment with supportive faculty and well-rounded opportunities.

Placements: The course is interdisciplinary, and as a B.A. student in a combination of political science and music, I found it enriching. Placement statistics are not readily available for this particular combination, but I can say a few things about similar programs. Graduates in political science start normally at a basic salary of around 3 LPA to 5 LPA but can rise after a few years of experience, the salary would be around 8 LPA - 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Mata Sundri College for Women offers good facilities to students. The library contains a good number of books, journals, and question banks. Computer and psychology labs are also available in the college. The college auditorium is spacious and can seat 500 people, and a multipurpose hall is available for all kinds of events. A variety of tasty food is served in the cafeteria. The place has a basic medical facility with emergencies near the hospital. The campus offers Wi-Fi, classrooms, lifts, ramps, and an eco-friendly environment.

Faculty: B.A. in political science and music from Mata Sundri College is considered pretty sound because there are known and helpful faculty members. The curriculum goes well with those going into the teaching or research field, but not that great for an industry job. Semester exams are not that tough but again require some scope of understanding concepts. The pass percentage may be around 80 to 90%. The college offers a wide range of extracurricular activities.

Other: The greatest thing about the course is its infrastructure. There are better instruments, practice rooms, and professional mentorship for music students. Events, fests, and extracurricular activities like Saarang Annual Fest, etc., are held. There are much-awaited events as part of this, mainly culture. A super jamming session is its exciting event to assemble the brightest bunch from multiple disciplines in a perfect blend, through instant creation, called Jamming-Saarang, followed closely by excellent opportunities in performances-dance-debate, mic openness. There is regular practice, inter-college competitions, and other collaborations among colleges. It orrganises functions on the festival of Guru Nanak Jayanti to promote the college's spiritual and cultural heritage.
