MBM : Not just a college, but an identity.
Placements: Almost 60%-70% of students got placed in electronics and computer engineering courses. The students relate to both software and hardware there are so many chances to be placed in core companies and the IT sector. The top recruiting companies are BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited), Havells India, Adani Group, TCS, and so many more. The roles offered by companies vary in skills and in the electronics field. The roles offered are PCB designing, checking, embedded systems, robotics, and VLSI. The average package is 7 LPA with the highest 13 LPA. Almost all the students get internships in various domains like DRDO, DRM Office, Metro Office, and other sources.
Infrastructure: As you know MBM is India's earliest engineering college so the infrastructure is average not like modern structure. The department of my course is good and the classrooms are fully furnished and affiliated with smart board and have labs with proper computers and air-conditioning. There is Wi-Fi available in the labs. The hostel infrastructure is also old and the food quality of mess is not so good but there are sports facilities available in the hostel and a hospital is also available in front of the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and have great knowledge of their respective subjects. Their teaching quality is awesome and they visualize all the concepts to the students and solve their problems also. The course curriculum is similar to industry requirements and makes you ready for industry. In fact, you have to make projects in your semester. The semester exams are quite difficult firstly you have to get the minimum required marks in the midterm then you will be able to sit in the end semester exam. The pass percentage is around 70%.
Other: The course provides me with more domains to get jobs in the future because of having both electronics and computers. This helps me to choose my career field as per the requirements of the industry.

Honest Review of MBM University.
Placements: If we talk about placement, about 50 percent of the students get placed in this college. Our highest package is about 18-20 lacs, and the average package is about 7 lacs, while the minimum package is about 3 lacs. The highest package in the IT sector is 15 lacs. If we talk about internships, very few companies come to our college for this.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, it is not up to the standard. All the buildings need renovation. The building where 1st-year classes are held is the worst. Labs are good, but some instruments are broken and have not been replaced yet. Our hostel is not on the campus; it is about 2 km away, and its capacity is only 240 students. So, many students live in PGs. The food in the hostel is good.
Faculty: All the teachers are more than qualified in the college. They have knowledge of their subject and are very approachable. Some course curricula are not relevant, but it happens in all colleges. As for the semester exams, they are not that difficult. If a student studies normally, they can achieve a good rank in the semester.
Other: We have many events in the college, like Techkirti and Encarta. We also have sports events for students who are interested in sports.

Really good infrastructure and placements in 2023.
Placements: Around 70 to 80% of students were placed in this course. The average package is 10 LPA, and the highest package is 15 LPA. It depends on our skills and academic reports. There are so many companies like Infosys and Microsoft in which students are placed. The branch is related to electronics and computers therefore, we have two paths to choose in which we want to take placements. All the students get internships in DRDO and other companies. The roles offered in my course are embedded systems, robotic engineering, medical electronics, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our department are good. Here labs are available for every subject. All the classrooms are fully furnished and ventilated. A college library and a department library are also available in which smart library is also available. Hostel is not so good because it is a very old building. Mess food is not good but if we want to enjoy our hostel life, it is very good and provides so much enjoyment. Sports clubs are also available for games like kabaddi, cricket, chess, volleyball, badminton, basketball, table tennis, football, etc.
Faculty: College hire faculty members with strong academic backgrounds, relevant industry experience, and a passion for teaching. The quality of teaching can depend on the individual teachers' approach. Some might be highly interactive and helpful, while others may adopt a more traditional lecture style. Course curriculum is very relevant for industrial purposes. There are workshops held for students to develop them for industries. Semester exams are little bit tough and the pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in this field. Due to electronics and computer branch, both electronics and computer types of knowledge are required for industrial purposes. Sometimes I feel that some subjects are very theoretical and it seems boring. Some teachers also use traditional methods of teaching so it feels like improper knowledge regarding that subject.

Teachers are good, but the course curriculum is quite backward.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed this year. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Tata, Wipro, Adani Group, etc., like major companies. Internships are quite scarce in college. We have to mainly rely on ourselves to get an internship. 30-50% of total students got internships in this branch. Mostly companies are local or someone known. Mostly, students get placed at good to slightly bad positions, as per the package offered. Some students got top-level positions in well-established companies.
Infrastructure: 1st year classrooms are from decades ago technologies, like no fan, broken windows, and tables that now aren't suitable for sitting. But as the courses go on, the 3rd and 4th years have better classrooms with AC and Wi-Fi installed. It has good seats, environment, water coolers, etc. Hostels are bad for normal people, but for anyone suffering from poverty, it is a great choice. Food quality is just for survival needs, neither good nor bad. There are no medical facilities, and we are on our own, as seniors will surely help. Slight ragging is there, but it's not like harassment.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable if students are willing to learn. If we are coming to college just for enjoyment, teachers don't mind and will not care about us. Teaching quality is good, but classrooms are not for teaching purposes, so close them wisely. The course curriculum is way out of today's needs, so a big no for that, and we are on our own on this one. It does not make students industry-ready, which is why the package and placement ratio are quite low. Semester exams are quite easy if we just focus on classrooms or study on our own.
Other: I'm pursuing a B.E. in Electronics and Computer Engineering because of the expected AI needs in machines and the semiconductor sector. We can search it up on Google, and many have good reviews on this. I wish the curriculum were improved because it's way out of today's needs, as I said earlier. Don't even think or expect events, fests, or campus crowd. Other than that, the connectivity with the seniors is quite good. If students are open-minded and don't mind being teased a little bit. Scholarships are available in quite a good number for the needy.
