The era of SGSITS Indore, a prominent college of Madhya Pradesh, has ended.

Placements: I am a first-year mechanical student, so I have no statement on our batch placements. Due to seniors' interactions, placements from recent years are getting lower, and even certain known companies have blacklisted the college this year. TNP cell students admit that placements have dropped. The average package for the mechanical course ranges from 4-5 LPA. The highest package ranges from 9-10 LPA. The highest package is 18 LPA on campus in the IT branch.

Infrastructure: Facilities are the worst. It has old and broken buildings. Classrooms have limited capacity. No Wi-Fi is provided. The library charges are not justified. Limited course books are available as there are only 2-3 sets. Labs have no proper management for experiments, and the setup is broken. The hostel is the worst for the amount they charge. My friend's room roof plaster came down at night. There is no almirah in the hostel and no table. We get table fans, which are slow. There is only a fan and a tubelight, but the bill is high. Shared rooms are available with common washrooms, which are very hygienic. There is no cleaning and no Wi-Fi in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they do not intend to teach. They just finish the syllabus by PPT. The majority of teachers are the same. Only some teachers care about students. The course curriculum is somewhere fine. According to the new education policy, no industry-level skills are taught. Semester exams are difficult, but if you study just one week before, you can pass easily. The pass percentage is 90-95%.

Other: I chose this course as I got a JEE rank, but I came to this college because the fee is less now. It is more than private colleges. My friends are also studying a mechanical course. It is best in today's time, as it is protected from AI from previous years since the director changed. He topped all fests and events, and it is limited to business, like using government grounds to give it to someone for their functions. Scholarship is provided, but their management is the worst, and they have no answers for anything.

It is worth for me, placements are also good, you can choose it.

Placements: Placements in my branch are good, almost 60% of students got placed. The highest package is about 25 LPA, the lowest is about 4 LPA, and the average is about 6 LPA, which is good enough. Top recruiters are LG, TCS, Mahindra, etc. And about 80% of students got internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good in my opinion because classrooms are dirty with dust on benches, less Wi-Fi speed is there, and labs are dusty. Hostels are not so good, with bad mess food, but students live happily there. A common dispensary is available, and good sports facilities are there.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Our department has the most experienced professors and assistant professors. They teach us in a unique way and are highly qualified for IITs, etc. The course curriculum is also relevant. We explore our interests with the help of teachers and learn a lot.

SGSITS College is a decent college, in my opinion.

Placements: There are about 60% of students placed in my course, which is good data. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA according to the data of this year. About 80% of students got internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also good, there are almost every facility available with proper workshops and proper Wi-Fi facilities. There are decent classrooms and a big, huge library. Hostels are also good, we can enjoy a lot there. Mess food is a little bit poor, but the sports facilities are good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, they support us mentally, socially, and academically. They are highly qualified and experienced. They teach us in a very unique way. The course curriculum is also relevant and makes us good engineers. Semester exams are average.

Mechanical branch is a good option for you in my college.

Placements: There are about 60% of students placed in my course, which is a decent number for a state college. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. We can go for it, and almost 80% of students have internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also decent, almost every facility is available. There are different workshops with proper arrangements, and classrooms are also good. Hostels are average, but we can live there peacefully as they are inside the campus. Sports facilities are good.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, they are highly qualified and experienced. They are knowledgeable with extraordinary teaching qualities. The course curriculum is also good and relevant. We are taught many things about our branch, and semester exams are average in difficulty.

My opinion about my college.

Placements: Placement in my college is good enough. More than 69% of students got placed. The highest package of my branch is 25 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Almost all students get internships and they enjoy it so much, overall good.

Infrastructure: Buildings are old but still good facilities are provided by the college authority. Almost everywhere Wi-Fi is available. Workshops are also available and some branch-wise clubs are also there for extracurricular activities. Hostel is also good like the good condition of the rooms and good mess food.

Faculty: Faculty members of my college are very supportive. They support us mentally, socially, and academically. Their level of knowledge is very high. They are highly qualified and live with us in a friendly manner. Semester exams are quite hard for students and face difficulties in this.
