The college is absolutely stunning.
Placements: About 47 percent of students opted for the B.Tech CSE-AIML course in MCKVIE. The highest package is expected to be around 17 LPA. The minimum package is about 5 LPA-6 LPA and the average package for this course is around 6 LPA. There are certain foreign as well as national companies registered for the placement programme from this college, such as TCL, Wipro, Infosys, Tata, etc. Around 78 percent of the total 100 percent of students from this college have provided on-campus placement based on their merit-based rank throughout the 4-year B.Tech journey.
Infrastructure: There are individual Wi-Fi facilities for every classroom, labs, libraries, and offices. The canteen provides clean and good food to every student. First aid facilities are also good. In every emergency situation first aid treatment can be applied to the patient. Specific play areas have been assigned for basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, and hockey.
Faculty: The teachers are too helpful to explain. Every one of them has a separate higher degree that they have opted for mostly from a foreign institute and with a proper certification. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready by the end of the 3rd year. The semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is around 40-42 percent in each semester.
Other: AI is widely expanding in every corporate as well as government sector. This course is really helpful because it makes students specialize in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The only thing to improve is to remove the outside things like yoga, photography classes which are basically out of the respective course because they are very time-consuming and don't have any exact sector to work with. The events, fests, campus crowd, and connectivity are just excellent. The campus surroundings are almost surrounded by fully learning sectors. Scholarships can be availed for clearing the semester fees.

The college is good, and teachers are also helpful, but skills are in students' hands.
Placements: On average, 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is about 6 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS and many other startups. A very low percentage of students got internships from our college, but if students are enthusiastic, they can get them on their own.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is okay, but labs are not so good. There is no Wi-Fi connection. Labs are not very modern. Classrooms are dependable, but in CSE, the rooms are small and congested. The library is nice. The hostel is the worst, with no food services, or if they provide food, it is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Their teaching ability is good. The course curriculum is set by AICTE, so it is always relevant. Semester exams are medium. There is always a 95% pass percentage. Teachers are always helpful and ready to help at other times.

The college is overall good.
Placements: Overall, it is average. The highest package is about 6 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Training sessions also take place. The college offers some internship opportunities as well. Getting placed is neither very easy nor very difficult.
Infrastructure: The library is good. Classrooms are also good, but on hot days it's a little problematic. Hostel facilities are poor. Wi-Fi is not up to the mark. Mostly in libraries during work, we cannot access the Wi-Fi properly. This causes a problem for us.
Faculty: Not all faculty members have good quality of teaching, but some do. The curriculum is okay. The preparation for exams is good since it's a daily practice to give exams frequently. So as a whole, the college can be considered a good college if we ignore some of these drawbacks.

Good faculty, decent infrastructure, and labs but classrooms need upgradation.
Placements: 85% to 90% of students get jobs. Salary depends on the company every year. Still, the average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Ardent, IBM, Wipro, etc. Internships depend on students. You have to search for internships by yourself.
Infrastructure: There are libraries and computer labs in every department. Wi-Fi zone is provided in the library. We have labs for all subjects. I am not from the hostel. Canteen contains Vegetarian items only, but the food quality is good. There is a medical facility in our college. Every years, annual sports are organized (like cricket, football, shotput), and also indoor games.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Teachers are helpful. But you have to study by yourself for extra skillings. If you want to be ready yourself at the industry level, then you have to study by yourself. Also you will get help from teachers. Semester exams are average in difficulty level, and the pass percentage in 95%.
Other: CSE department is one of the best in MCKVIE. I think if they add some extra skills or courses related to CSE, then it will be better. There are so many tech events, Hackathons (Organized by the college, GDGoC MCKVIE).

It is the most chosen private college in Kolkata.
Placements: Placements in 2025 have increased compared to the previous years of placements. The highest package offered is 66 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 7 to 8 LPA. It is more than any other private college in Kolkata. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Accenture, Tata Motors, Wipro, etc. Internships depend on the CGPA that we have scored.
Infrastructure: The campus buildings are average. Classrooms contain a lower temperature than the outside. Labs are good, especially the circuit designing lab. The library is big and well-spaced. Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls. The food in the hostel mess is average. The food served in the canteen is better.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very prolific and very energetic in nature. All my department teachers always come in a fresh mood to teach something new. In between classes, some of them crack a good joke. The teaching style is mostly focused on lectures with notes and PPTs. The course curriculum got better during the lockdown, and it is improving constantly. Semester exams are easy if we are active in class and revise notes regularly.
Other: If students want to study in this college, then they should target a better branch, at least electrical and above.

Decent college with very good faculty, placements are decent, and strong academics overall.
Placements: The placement percentage is low. As it is a Tier 3 college, the placement competition is much higher. Around 10% just got placed. The highest package is 21 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA. TCS, Wipro recruit. Around 60% got their internship easily. Data Science, mechanical, and electrical roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and the library is also decent. You can access the library anytime from 9 AM to 6 PM. Everything is there to prepare for any exams. Food is only veg in the campus. As it is aligned with Belur Math culture, non-veg is now allowed on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. The core subjects are needed for any job. The semester exam is easy for me. We start preparing 1 week before. The attendance criteria are high, you need 60% attendance. The pass percentage is around scoring 35 marks in each subject, minimum. HoDs are very helpful.
Other: I chose the course of Data Science as it is now a popular, high-growth field. I wish for more job relevant practical training. Fest events are pretty good. Ragging-free campus.
