Detailed Review of MCKV INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING.
Placements: Last year, 92% of students in my course got placement. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. 75% of students got good internships. Roles offered include software engineer, AI & ML specialist, and root engineering, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are totally fine. Projectors or smart boards are available for better understanding. Video lectures are good. Wi-Fi facility available for students in the cafeteria and library. All kinds of books and a digital library are also available. In the canteen, foods are good, and the hostel is average. Medical facilities and first aid are also available. The campus is totally veg. You can't find any non-veg items in the whole campus and canteen, but still, the foods are tasty and hygienic.
Faculty: Our college always promotes extracurricular activities. There are a lot of clubs for students to join for extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, photography, drawing, writing, literature, and last but not least, for innovative ideas too. Our college also arranges a lot of fests for students, which is great entertainment for us students. Semester exams are moderate, not too difficult, not easy. Those who properly learn can easily answer any question.
Other: I chose CSE AIML because it is one of the top-rising courses in the whole country and also the future of everything, so there is no fear of not getting a job. There is no such need to make it better because the subject is hard, so we can't do anything about it. Our college organizes a lot of tech fests and cultural fests.

Decent College Where Besides Completing Your Course, You Can Focus on Other Activities
Placements: My batch will be the first to graduate in 2026. Mainly, we get offered SDE roles. The highest package offered was around 18 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Companies include TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. The internship percentage for students is average; I don’t know the exact number.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent. We have Wi-Fi, a library with high capacity, and clean classrooms. The quality of hostel food and canteen options is also good. If any issues arise, they are taken care of. The hostel is located near the college, so timing is not an issue.
Faculty: Teachers help whenever we ask for assistance. They are open to teaching outside of the curriculum topics, and you can also join their research projects, which helps with your career. Semester exams are generally hard, not easy at all. The pass percentage is around above 35 percent, though I’m not sure. The course is quite relevant given the present AI scenario worldwide.
Other: I chose this course based on the current trends in the tech world where AI is highly useful for development.

Our college infrastructure is nice.
Placements: Around 85% of placements are provided. Around 30 to 40 companies come for placements. Around 80 to 90% of students get good placements. They make you job-ready by encouraging and helping. The placement training is good. They equip you with information about every company. Counseling and help would be provided for higher studies.
Infrastructure: It has a good environment. We get maintained areas like washrooms, reading room, etc. The area is safe for boys and girls. All the facilities are available in case of emergency. It gives the best experience with activities, industrial visits, and the newly inaugurated Electronics club. College gives vibrant college life, a good set of friends, and great memories along with a degree.
Faculty: Academics are very good. Every teacher is helpful. There are extra classes for doubt clearing. Students get the opportunity to increase their knowledge in all the fields and areas of interest. Faculty members are the best-handpicked persons. They have very good knowledge and guide you to a good career. They make the classes interactive and teach topics more simply.

Our college has good faculty members, good placements, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: The placement rate of our college is good. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. Amazon is the top recruiter. Around 80% of students got internships in companies like Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The top role offered in this course is system developer. The lowest and average salary package is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are well maintained in our college. Labs and the library are provided with the required facilities. Online library authorisation is possible. Canteen food is hygienic and nutritional. Sports like cricket, badminton, basketball, football and indoor games like carrom are available for the students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are too helpful and qualified. They are always available for the students in case they require any help. This course makes students ready in field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Semester exams are not too difficult to pass.
Other: At present, this course is the future.

Our college Ambiance is good and familiar.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed every year. Companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, and TCS offer placements. The average salary package is 7 to 8 LPA. The highest salary package is 17 LPA this year and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and lab infrastructure is good with all the facilities. There is an English communication lab and conference halls. Library is well maintained with books in large numbers with updated editions. Hostel is bad due to the bad quality of food and water.
Faculty: Teachers are kind, helpful, and well qualified. The curriculum is followed as per a good university. As the college is autonomous they conduct semester exams in which the question pattern, pass percentage, and marks distribution are followed as per the university.
