MIET Meerut: A student's perspective.
Placements: From seniors' point of view, the job opportunities have been degraded in the last couple of years. I know the universe claims to have 100% placement but that's not completely true. Many students get placed in big companies but most of the students don't get such packages. The average salary ranges from 2.5-3 LPA which is very low compared to the other colleges or university offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MIET is quite decent with well-maintained classrooms, labs, and a clean campus. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and smartboards. The laboratories are also well-equipped but some students feel they are quite outdated. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus but the speed can be inconsistent at times. The college provides a hostel for both boys and girls with separate wings. The food quality is just average. Hygiene is maintained but it can be improved and there are also backups for electricity cuts and also the security for students is good
Faculty: The faculty is good and helpful. They teach everything from a very basic level. They are supportive and approachable. The course structure is well-balanced, covering the essential topic of the chosen field. For examination, 75% attendance is mandatory for students. The exams are considered moderate to tough level.

This is the best college in Meerut.
Placements: Around 70%-80% of students got placed in this course. The average salary package offered varies between 4 LPA and 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 33 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available. It also has digital classrooms. Our library is air-conditioned. Our campus has a basketball court, volleyball court, snooker room, table tennis court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and most of them graduated from IITs. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students ready for the industry. The exam pattern and assignments are hectic. We also have weekly tests. External exams are also tough, and students get backlogs very often.
Other: I chose this course because of the upcoming opportunities in artificial intelligence. In our batch, there are 60 seats. Interactive classes should be improved to generate more interest in studying. There is an annual fest named Kolahal. Extracurricular activities like ramp walks, dancing, singing, open mic nights, DJ nights with stars, poetry, etc., are also conducted. This college provides scholarships for financially weak students. Many activities like Robo War, hackathons, etc., are held every month.

Faculty members, infrastructure, and placements are also good in our college.
Placements: About 75-80% of students get placements in companies. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA while the minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. They are mass recruiters so majority of students get placed in it. No student gets an internship from the college. They have to apply on their own for that. But, they made ids on several platforms like LinkedIn, and Internshala so that students will be at ease to get internships if they need them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good enough as it has a separate library for each building for each course. The canteen is fine but the mess food is very bad and unhygienic. There are no medical facilities available in this college. We have sports and games only after the college ends.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good but they won't come to you on their own but if you catch them and ask some doubts, they will definitely help you. All the teachers are helpful and qualified but only if you reach out to them to ask doubts and discuss the course/career. For all years, the course curriculum is relevant we have weekly tests every Monday. If we completely follow whatever is instructed by our college, it will make us industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult. If one starts studying even one month before the exams to study hard, he/she can achieve good marks. The pass percentage of our college lies between 70-75%.

It is the best college in West UP and MIET is also rated by NAAC.
Placements: Placements are good.
Infrastructure: Every author's books are present in the campus library. The canteen is very neat and clean. Every stream and subject lab is available here.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and friendly. The college campus is also safe for girls. Teachers also discussed our queries on the call.
Other: I am pursuing a B.Tech from CSE and I am in my third year. Basically, I live in Muzaffarnagar, and there are no good engineering colleges in our place. So I decided to study at MIET because it's only 60 km away from my house. It is a very famous college in West UP. This building is full of security guards to maintain discipline on the college campus. The main good point about this college is that students are not able to exit the college without permission. The mega festival of MIET is Kohlaal, which is held every year. This is a three-day event.

I am satisfied after taking admission to this college.
Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahindra visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is a software engineer. Students became eligible for placements at the starting of their third year and got placed till the mid-semester.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. It provides good classrooms, concerned department labs and a library with various books. The hostel has good food facilities, standard rooms and a better Wi-Fi facility. Our college has a good playground for games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very hardworking and helpful towards students to bring the best out of us. Most of them are highly educated. They have deep knowledge of subjects. All teachers are very cooperative and ready to guide in every situation. They also prepare us for an interview.

It is the best college in Meerut, and I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: Job opportunities in our college are really good, and all students who work hard really get placed. Placements in our college are really good, and many top companies used to visit our college for placements. Approximately 80% to 85% of the students get placed in different companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Global. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. The highest salary package of 46 LPA was offered in off-campus placements in 2021.
Infrastructure: The hostel is average here. The quality of the food served is also average. The hostel fee is approximately Rs. 60,000. Medical and sports facilities are available.
Faculty:
B.Tech course is really good in our college and worth it. Academics are really good in our college. Faculty members in our college are really supportive and friendly with us. I really love our college. Artificial intelligence is newly added in CSE by AKTU this year.
Other: It is one of the best colleges of AKTU. It is near to my home, malls and metro also. The popularity of this college is greater in Meerut. I am really satisfied with my college, and there are really great faculty members and students. Kolahaal is the annual fest organised here, and it is very famous in Meerut. Campus life is really awesome in our college, and I really enjoy being in the college. Events and extracurricular activities are also held in my college, which I enjoyed very much because they are really exciting and energetic.

The best engineering college in Western UP.
Placements: The 7th-semester students are eligible for placements. TCS, Wipro, IBM, Cognizant, Mahindra, Birla and many other companies visited the campus and offered around 600 placements for the students of all branches. Around 90% of the students got placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available 24 hours on the campus and hostel as well. There are three libraries and one canteen, two boys' hostels and one for girls' hostel. Mess food quality is not that good. Sports club, music, cricket and basketball games facilities are available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. They have good knowledge. I chose this course because I wanted to do B.Tech from childhood as I am not very intelligent, but of course, I put all my efforts into this course.
Other: There is no ragging in this college. After some time, I realized that the environment I'm studying in is very friendly to teachers and friends. The faculty are very interactive with us. There is no shortage of any of the things for students. The scholarship programme is very good, but I'm not eligible because my father has a government job. But most of the friends take advantage of this, and I heard from them that the scholarship programme is very good. Kolahaal is the main fest organised in our college.

It's a good college with 80% percent placement.
Placements: Placement rate is about 80% and good ratio for the students. Many companies visit the College for the placement. The job is secured and well as well good positions. The average package of the college is 3 to 5 lack per annum. The highest package of the college is about 28 lack per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college classes are great and every class have a projector class facility. Every class contains good fans and light facilities too. The hostels are also good which includes 2 bedroom set and 3 bedroom set. Hostel also have badminton court facility. There are 2 hostels in the college for boys and 2 for girls.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is great and intelligent. All the professors are very knowledgeable about their subjects. The also teach students extra about the subject. There is every Monday test for 1st year students and sessional 1,2 for all years and Pre university test for good preparation for exams too.
