Review of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET).

Placements: 90 percent or more of the people from our course are placed. The highest package offered this year is 51 LPA, but it is an off-campus placement. The average placement is around 5-6 LPA. Many companies come to our college for on-campus placement. Around 40-50 percent get internship opportunities from the college side, and the rest do it on their own. Roles offered include SDE, technical trainer, management, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. It is neither good nor bad. Our classes have smart boards, fans, and green boards. Our labs are in proper condition, and the computer labs are in good shape. Our library is a great place; it comprises every book you want to study, whether it is a subject book or a storybook. Hostels are also good. The quality of food in the mess is like, in the beginning, it was pretty good, and now it is average.

Faculty: Our college faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. Some have studied at NIT and some are from top government colleges. The quality of teaching is very good compared to nearby colleges. Yes, our college is autonomous, so it has its own syllabus designed to make students industry-ready. For example, while every AKTU college starts coding classes with C or C++, our college begins with Python. The semester exam level is not very hard. If you study 2-3 days before the exam, you can easily achieve good grades.

My 2 years of life at NIET.

Placements: Placement-wise, this college is very good, after GL Bajaj. The top recruiters are Cognizant, TCS, IBM, Amazon, Intel, etc. The lowest package was 4 LPA, and the highest was 52 LPA by Amazon. In my course, only 30% of students got placed in MNCs. I recommend you do B.Tech, but never opt for M.Tech integrated degrees.

Infrastructure: The buildings are very old. They got the smart boards in every class on which they taught us with the use of ppts. You cannot use your mobile data in classes because they have jammers; they have Wi-Fi; you can use them, but they do not work all the time, so overall, you cannot use the internet. They have labs of every kind: apple Lab, idea lab, mercedes-benz Lab, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are average; they all have Masters and PhD's. They make the students industry-ready; they are very strict. Semester exams are easy; you can easily pass them, but they strictly check the copies. The institute is autonomous, so they arrange the exams themselves.
