B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026

MIET is affiliated with AKTU University, the worst university in the world.
Placements: 5-10 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 3 LPA, the lowest package is 1.5 LPA, and the average package is around 2 LPA - 2.5 LPA. The main reason is that we are doing B. Tech, but placement companies are coming for hiring in sales and marketing. The top recruiting company is TCS.
Infrastructure: My college facilities are only good in the first year. After the first year, facilities become the worst. Wi-Fi is only available in the hostel and lab classes, not more than that. Classrooms and the library are good. The food available in the canteen is average, and the food in the mess is also average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you go to them with a problem. They don't give solutions on their own. They have knowledge. Teaching quality is average. AKTU University exam answer sheet checking is very bad. It has to be improved I suggest the pass percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose the course because I have planned it since high school.

Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology review.
Placements: College has a good placement track record, and some of the best companies like TCS, Bosch, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, and AWS recruit during placements. The average package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 28 LPA. So, overall, it's a nice placement experience. I would advise my juniors to go for this college.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel include Wi-Fi, drinking water, lights, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. There is a central library on campus where students can issue books. The quality of the food in the mess is average. We have three canteens on campus, and the fast food is good. We also have a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket.
Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and assist with concept clarification and doubt-solving, preparing students for the real-world industry. However, due to a general lack of student focus, the pass percentage remains just above 50%. Still, the teachers remain supportive.

Teachers create a good bond.
Placements: Green current electronics engineer, Trakbond, Satyam software solutions, Flex Ltd, Morphedo, Heblox pvt Ltd, P2 power solutions were a few of the peculiar companies that completely look for the right candidate in the field of electrical and communication engineering with an initial package of 3.5 CTC.
Infrastructure: Special concern in building a sports facility, as all the indoor and outdoor fields were equipped with safety signs, even though they had newly initiated a pickleball court. Scholarships based on categories like merit, need, and minority sports were arranged. Amounts like finest would be charged for any of the interdisciplinary action.
Faculty: Teachers responded to all the inquiries of the students with an easily approachable attitude, and our teachers would blend some of the rules for maintaining good relationships among the students. The thing to be worried about with academics was that teachers were changing often.

A student shares the true reality of colleges.
Placements: Placements at our college are not very good, they are below average. They try hard, but only one or two core companies come, and that too only sometimes. Other than this, only small companies come to pick students for work like data entry and other labor-intensive jobs. If you don't get a job, they give you a placement in the college itself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really bad. Even the faculty don't have air conditioning in the summer, let alone the students. The mess is okay, but the classes and buildings are really old and need to be furnished. There are cracks, and there is no air conditioning in the labs. The places that are good are only there to show outsiders so that they can get admissions and fill their pockets.
Faculty: Only the main faculty are like family and behave like one, thinking about the students. Other than this, the ones who oversee the whole college are like, "let it happen, whatever is happening." Well, just go and ask any student studying in colleges affiliated with AKTU, and you will know.
Other: College is a great value for money, and the college life is the best because you will find friends and faculty who feel like family there.

It is a very good college.
Placements: Students with minimun marks of 50% in all subjects could take admission in MEIT in B.Tech. MEIT reports 92% placement rate for its B.Tech students. The highest package offered was 19 LPA, with an average package of 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, TCS, and many more.
Infrastructure: College had a rich and modern infrastructure. The labs were well-equipped with modern types of equipment. At MEIT, there was a vibrant campus with lush green surroundings. All hostel rooms had first aid boxes, air-conditioned rooms, electric water heaters, etc.
Faculty: Teachers of the college were generally considered to be helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. I raise the quality of teaching and the depth of knowledge possessed by the instructor. Some teachers had over 10 years of teaching experience. It was a very good college.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

Good college with knowledgeable facilities and campus surroundings.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was 80 to 90 percent with students in better placements. The highest package offered in my course was 9.5 LPA and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Intel, Texas, and Samsung. The percentage of the student got internship from my course was 40 to 50 percent in the companies of Texas, Intel, and Samsung. The top roles in the companies were verification engineer and hardware engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my department were so good. Wi-Fi was available at very high-speed. The lab was so modern and nice very clean. The classrooms were so good. Digital blackboard was used and the library had a lot of books for the students. The quality of facilities in the hostel was so good. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen was so good. The medical facilities were available. Sports facilities were also available. Games were played in a well-mannered manner.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and well qualified at the Ph.D. level. They were so knowledgeable. The teaching quality was so good. The course curriculum was through 11 years. They made students industry-ready by doing the practical. During the class sessions and the interaction among the students in the companies during the internship. The difficulty of the semester exam in this college was not very hard every student passed in my course. The pass percentage of the students in my course was 60 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in electronics and technology studies. The best thing about my course is that I gained a lot of knowledge about technology and communications. The things that would be better in my course were that it should have practical knowledge and skills for a better understanding. Events, fests, campus crowd, and connectivity were so good. The campus surroundings were so nice. Scholarship was given to the students who were eligible. Extracurricular activities was also played.

M.Tech ECE course admission in the year 2026 at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: This course teaches many things, but the company does not teach anything. The college provides internships, and the highest salary offered in this college is from 3-8 LPA. In this college, every year, 30-40% of students are placed in companies. This company does not offer any roles for the students.
Infrastructure: This college's infrastructure quality is very good and uses high-quality facilities like fast Wi-Fi connection, neat and clean classrooms, bathrooms, many computers in labs, a library, etc. Facilities are available in this college. The college canteen food is not tasty because it uses low-quality materials, and hygienic food is not provided.
Faculty: This college faculty is very strict, and the teachers and professors are very professional, with completed master's degree qualifications. This course has a total duration of 4 years with 8 semester exams, and these semester exams are very difficult and hard.

It is the best college in Meerut Uttar Pradesh.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed per year in top companies from the electronic and communications branch. It is one of the top colleges in Meerut. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Amazon, etc. They conduct interviews. The interview has hard and easy questions.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the my college are excellent. The department building infrastructure is good but the water cooler is not good. They provide lifts in every building. The hostel facility is good but the mess facilities are bad. The canteen facilities are good. We play sports and games every day and week.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They have completed their Ph.D. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Their behavior toward students is good. The course curriculum is not good. Semester exams in AKTU are difficult but the college exams are easy according to the AKTU pattern.
Other: This course is good. It has a good scope for the future. Electronics and communication are better and have improved some time. The ECE branch is good compared to the CSE branch. Around 2 - 3 fests are conducted in our college. The campus crowd is good. A scholarship department is good.
