A good college to study Bachelors here.
Placements: I am currently studying B.Sc. honours in Mathematics and it is not a professional course either from my college. So I don't have an actual placement structure on my course from my college. So yes, at the end of the course you have an degree with some good knowledge and experience.
Infrastructure: We do have an good infrastructure of research lab for Ph.D. students but not for my course level and in terms of Wi-Fi everyone will get it but a very small amount of data except in library reading room of computer section you can get a good connectivity. The college classrooms are good and so is the library and specially it's reading room. Where you can study peaceful with out any interruption and in our digital library you can get a good amount of books for this course. Actually a very limited students can get permission to stay in college hostel according to your home distance but I heard the facilities are decent like you have two times of meal in a day, canteen food is really good you can have a wide range of options. The college runs a variety of sports and games from time to time, we have a basketball court to play and in front of my college you have the whole college ground for variety of games to play. Shortly this a very good college in terms of infrastructure of my course and hostel in the whole district.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and qualified, also knowledgeable but in terms of teaching quality in my opinion some of are good but not all. The big concern is some of them are not friendly as I expected to be in college. Actually the course curriculum is relevant for knowledge gain in the specific subject but No, the course did not make you industry ready again because it is not an professional course. The semester exams are not too easy to pass for every paper. But if you study regularly then not a problem from fear of failing, you can pass easily.
Other: I chose the course because I love it. All things are good about the course except the teaching quality or the way of teaching of some teachers which I don't like it in my word. The College campus is very good, I think best in the whole area or can say district. And according to your yearly performance you can get a good amount of scholarship.

Good. If you have a dream to be a successful person, then you must join this college.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 80 thousand, the average package is 50 thousand, and the minimum package is 10 thousand. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HAL, etc. Around 70 percent of students get internships. The company offers us positions like top accountant and manager.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms and labs are well decorated, and labs are equipped with high-tech features. The fastest internet connection is provided in our college. Our hostel is big and beautiful, equipped with high-tech features. The quality of our food is delicious. Regular health check-ups take place in our hostel. A good quality food canteen is also in the college surroundings.
Faculty: All of our teachers are humble, honest, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers are GATE qualified. Of course, our teachers have provided the necessary information for industrial knowledge. Not too easy; you should read properly to qualify for exams in this college. The pass percentage is 80.
Other: A huge opportunity to prove yourself and clear the JAM examination and have a chance to join IIT. Nothing is perfect. You have to go to college regularly, and every year a large number of events are organized. You can apply for all types of scholarships.

Our college is not very good for placement, but otherwise it is good.
Placements: In our batch, around 20% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was approximately 4 LPA, while the lowest package was around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Shalimar, Jindal, and Tata. Most of the students were offered the role of Trainee. No internships were offered during the course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, and the library is available. There are no Wi-Fi facilities or proper labs for practical learning. The hostels are average, and the food is okay but not exceptional. There is no medical facility available on campus. The institution conducts sports events like cricket, volleyball, and other games to encourage student participation and maintain a balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the overall teaching quality is quite good. The curriculum includes both industry-related and knowledge-based learning, helping students gain practical and theoretical understanding. The semester exams are tough, ensuring academic rigour. The pass percentage is above 60%, which reflects the strong academic support and guidance provided by the faculty throughout the course.
Other: I am from the 2025 batch, pursuing a B.Sc. Mathematics (Hons). I chose this course due to my interest in mathematics. The syllabus is relevant, and the faculty is supportive. Campus fests, a friendly crowd, and good connectivity are the plus points. Practical exposure can improve.

Our favourite midnapore college (autonomous).
Placements: 80% of students are placed in my course. Top recruiting companies like Wipro are coming to offer a handsome salary job. Some per cent of students got internships as they hold an exam and also an interview. But there is an opportunity to have a job like that. The highest package is Rs 100000.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is a well-decorated place. The student always has an opportunity to get free Wi-Fi. There are also existing labs. The labs are so cool. The classrooms are well decorated and also have the opportunity to get an air cooler. Our library is so big. Students can go and read. They can also read any big in our library free of cost. The food quality of our hostel is good. We have lunch and dinner as usual. Also, students can eat anything from the canteen. Also, there are some medical facilities. Sports tournaments are also held.
Faculty: Our teachers are so much helpful to their students. Their teaching quality is good. If no one can understand then they took an effort and make their doubt clear. Yes, they make students industry ready. The semester exam is good. One can answer easily. The pass percentage is 80?

One of the best colleges in Midnapore for Graduation .
Placements: Our college is in the rural area and this college is for only graduation like B.Sc. Honours and pass for science background students and B.A. for arts students. So, starts ups or big company like Google, Facebook etc. are not interested in our college
The college doesn't provide any internship to us, but they give a scholarship to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department in the college is good. We have not get Wi-Fi facilities in the mathematics department classroom but there is a department library especially for mathematics. Our college hostels are very good. There are boy's and girls' hostel both in our college. The capacity of the amount of the students in the hostels are a large. The food facilities are very good in the hostels, there is also a big college playground near the college hostel where the students can play any time even in night also the college provided medical faculty members in hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, knowledgeable and very much efficient in teaching. The teaching method is also old which is good for beginners but is the worst for the advanced students. Semester exams in our college are difficult but very much because our college professors teach us deeply about any topic.
Other: Mathematics is an exciting and varied degree that can open up a lot of opportunities for students. The study of mathematics makes you better at solving problems. It gives me skills that I can use across others subjects and apply in many different job roles so I chose mathematics. I want to improve my skills in my subjects. We get the inspiration and Swami Vivekananda scholarship from the government. Also, the college gives a special scholarship to the students for students with special conditions.
