I have the worst academic experience.

Placements: There is a placement cell, and we got some training for interviews. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was restricted to online. I am in the last semester, but our seniors are not allotted any jobs.

Infrastructure: There are no classrooms for M.Sc biotechnology students, so lectures are held in the laboratory. Air-conditioners are not working for a good 3-4 months, and they are looked after once we wrote a complaint. Canteen food is good, but the canteen is usually filled with a lot of students. The library is great.

Faculty: The biotech department of our college is known to show tantrums on their students. Teachers have very unprofessional behaviour, but they are supportive. The course curriculum might be good, but teachers don't teach it to impart knowledge to students. It is only PowerPoint presentations or YouTube videos during online lectures. None of the teachers took effort for uplifting students.

Other: Extracurricular activities are held in this college, but the notice about it is not reached to the biotech department. It is an isolated and small staff member, so no one bothers to pass on the notice.

Our college is the best with good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Up to 75% of the students got placed through college placements. The highest salary offered was 7.40 LPA, and the average salary offered was in between 3 LPA to 3.50 LPA. Companies that visited our college were ICICI Bank, Angel Brokers, etc. They offered the marketing jobs and many more to the placed students. There is a placement cell in our college, and it helps the students to get placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. The whole college is enabled with Wi-Fi facility. Labs are neat and clean. Classrooms are good, and all the benches are well-maintained. There are many sports and games to play in college. Our college has a good canteen, and this canteen provides various foods to eat.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful in nature. They highly qualified in their subject. They teach one-on-one to the needy students so that students can understand better. Teachers teach the students on board as well as on projector. They take students to one-day industrial visit.

Other: The events organised in our college are great. Many celebrities visited our college to perform. The campus crowd is high class. The college surroundings are good.

Review of Mithibai College.

Placements: Masters course is not linked with any company interview or campus recruitments. So it's all about your own approach getting the next in your life after the course. However, the faculty will guide us well as per their enriched knowledge and experience, so that helps. Overall, placement & recruitment is the area in which improvement and advancement are needed.

Infrastructure: Earlier, when I was pursuing my Bachelors, the construction and extension work going on, so no good infrastructure was available. However, now it's very well renovated with numerous air-conditioned classrooms and laboratories ( sectioned rooms ). Locker facility is provided to M.Sc. Students so the project work can be stored and maintained well. The labs are also well furnished.

Faculty: The syllabus of M.SC is vast, and the students should learn by themselves. The students must use the library to make their own notes. The faculty members suggest different authors' books, and they are good for referring, but ultimately it's only your efforts and hard work that's bears sweet fruits.

Other: Faculty members and students plan, organise and execute interesting programs like Saptaparni, inter and intra-college competitions etc. Regular field trips and botanical exertions are also planned, and they help the students to learn things practically.

One of the best colleges in Mumbai with respect to faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: For most master's courses under the university of Mumbai at Mithibai, college placements are not offered the students are expected to look for placements themselves. Internships can be included as a part of the dissertation, but that depends on which field you choose. My course being Biotechnology, we do get opportunities to interact with industry personnel, but that will not guarantee any placements.

Infrastructure: It is well known that Mithibai has amazing infrastructure: the buildings and classrooms are new and are fully air conditioned. Wi-Fi is also available to registered students. The library is regularly updated and books are also available to students. The numerous canteens are very light on the pocket but satisfying and the food around campus is also worth trying.

Faculty: The faculty overall is very experienced and helpful. The departments are required to regularly report to authority and thus the system runs efficiently. Teachers are easy to talk to and not extremely demanding. Although it depends on what course you pick, overall the college has a good hiring policy that will guarantee good teachers regardless of your course.

Best college to experience life with education.

Placements: We have very good placements opportunities provided in the college, and it's not just for some specific fields but for every student who wants to apply. Even the internships are offered. The selection percentage is 80-90. Many good and well-known companies visit the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure itself is a review for the college. Best I have ever seen. All the classrooms and labs have air-conditioners. The facilities like necessary labs, computer science lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, bio lab, etc. are provided in the college. The canteen in the college has the most delicious food, it's a pure vegetarian canteen.

Faculty: The faculty members in the college are helpful, and it's not of that type what we hear from the other colleges, after leaving the class professors doesn't entertain. You can visit anytime to the faculty members to clear your doubts. The faculty members are highly professional and are very good at knowledge. There are projector installed for virtual training.

Other: Numerous fests are conducted in the college in which we can participate and enjoy. Hence we can develop in all the areas by the students. We have many celebrities visits. For movies promotion or attending our fest etc. Kshitij is the annual and biggest fest of Mithibai.
