It is the best college in our city, established 25 years ago.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. The students are mostly placed in BPO companies, but few students are also placed in MNC’s. The average salary offered to the students is Rs. 15000 per month. Mostly, half of the students are placed, but 25% of them reject because of the job profile. The college has a lot of alumni, who established their own IT companies and the management has contacts with them.

Infrastructure: Primarily, our college doesn't give importance to sports. The infrastructure of the college is old. The campus and hostel are connected to a high-speed Wi-Fi network. Classrooms and labs are not equipped with the latest equipment. Many books are available in the library which is also very huge. The canteen present in the campus provides good food and a full meal for just Rs.30. Girls hostel rooms are clean, but boy’s rooms are very dirty and worst.

Faculty: The faculty has average knowledge in the subject but are friendly in nature. They teach best of their knowledge. They put maximum efforts into teaching the students, and they are well experienced. Teaching staff are well qualified and help students to learn. It is the second best college in our city. We didn’t go for any industrial visits during our studies.

Other: The Head of the Departments of each department are highly qualified and motivating professors. The lab facilities for the mechanical are incredible and for the other departments it is good. I couldn't find an option to rate this below. The training and placement cell is working really hard to place the students in good companies but again it's all in students' hands to make use of the opportunities. Over all Mookambigai college of engineering is a good college for the average/ above average rank holders in school and to join a course.

Other: Its a good college,but the infrastructure is worst. The teaching staff and coaching is good here. Still want to improve a lot in other activities like sports etc. But this college is not worth for management seats. Only two or three companies visit the campus for recruitment every year.

Placements and facilities are good.

Placements: Almost 88% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Infosys, etc. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Almost 50% of the students got an internship from our course in Infosys.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are large and comfortable. Water facilities in our college are very good, and the Wi-Fi facilities are also good. Food facilities are available on our campus. All engineering textbooks are available in our college, and our campus concentrates in studies and also in sports.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-knowledgeable and teach in a friendly way. Teachers on our campus teach concepts with real-time examples. Some of the teachers are not that good to teach. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.

Don't choose this if you want to learn practically.

Placements: Regarding placements, well very few companies (1 or 2) may come to this college and we can expect salary around 5k to 8k. Don't expect much about placement here. I am a final year student and about to finish my course but yet only one company came for the placement (I don't even know the name of the company).

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay but not awesome. No good laboratory facilities. 3 to 4 students are allowed to sit in a single system in computer lab.! Whenever we talk about classrooms there are broken windows, rusted iron desks, broken fans and fake tubelights. In library it contains only subject oriented books its not a place to enhance our knowledge. If you are sports person or loves game then this college is not for you. Better go for anything else. Food are just okay in hostel.

Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful but some are not. In some department if you ask questions to teachers they will punish you in future. Some teachers are good but not all of them.

Other: NO COLLEGE DAY functions, useless sports day every year. Hostel day is nice but that's only for hostellers. Women's day celebration would be awesome for girls. This college is suitable for girls because they want marks. If you get marks they will say you are a topper of the batch. They don't encourage your skills all they need is marks. They won't encourage our extra curricular activities too. Scholarship will be issued to everyone on time. Poor campus.
