NIFT Bhopal offers UG and PG courses in design stream. The Institute offers only one courses I.e MFM. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to MFM is that candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised institute/university or UG Diploma of minimum of three duration from NIFT/NID. NIFTEE 2026 is to be conducted on February 08, 2026. Written tests comprised a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). GAT is mandatory for all candidates, but CAT is only required for B. Des and M. Des candidates. 

GAT test will be considered in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT will be offline based. Note that scores of the written exams will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

The requirement for MFM at NIFT Bhopal is a recognised graduate degree from a university or a three-year undergraduate Diploma in NIFT or NID. No particular stream is restricted. The candidates should also pass the NIFT Entrance Examination. Final choice is through counselling.

The seats available for each specialisation is 44. The Institute also offers admission to BDes Lateral Entry in two specializations which is Textile Design and Acessory Design.
