The visiting faculty members are the best in our college with lots of experiences.

Placements: Placements happen in the 8th semester after the graduation project. Graduation project is a period of 4 -5 months where students get industry exposure. Students apply for GP in various companies in various fields. Since fashion communication is a very field, students can go for art direction, set designing, advertising apart from the core subjects that are photography, visual merchandising and graphic designing. After you have completed your GP, you either sit for on campus placements or apply for off campus or you can also have your Pre placement offers during your GP. Centralised campusing takes place that is students need go to various Nift campuses such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, etc. The salary varies from 3-4 lacs p. a. to even 12 lace p. a. Various companies such as Arvind, Raymond's, chumbak etc. Visited our campus.

Infrastructure: There is a resource centre in our college that is the library which has innumerable books related to fabrics, illustrations, communication and management. Wi-Fi is also available in the campus and the hostel 24*7. Classrooms are provided with projectors and speakers and there is an area known as activity hall where students can play various sports such as table tennis and badminton and can even dance. There is a basketball court and volleyball court. The quality of the food provided in the canteen is average. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable provided with a B.Ed cupboard, a table and a chair. The only problem that I faced is that there is less availability of books regarding fashion communication.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college are much qualified holding Masters and PG degrees. Even the alumni comes and teaches us. The guest faculty members are made available when necessary. In every class faculty members give us small excersie which every student needs to do. These exercises makes the concepts more Crystal clear.

Other: Spectrum is our college fest which takes place each year and there are various competitions that take place such as Ad mad, styling, tug of war, various sports and music and dance related events.

I will give 4.5 out of 5 in terms of teaching, infrastructure, surroundings, and facilities, etc.

Placements: Before coming to placement, I would like to say that there is also a graduation programme, which is held at last semester, that is in 8th semester. If one is performing good in this graduation programme, there is a chance of being offered a job in the company where graduation programme is done. Now coming to placement, this is done in the main centre like NIFT Delhi, NIFT Mumbai, etc. One will not be judged by the marks he secured during his course but by his work done in 4 years. Our university is based on Visual Merchandise, Photography, Graphics Design, Stylist, Fashion Journalist, etc. So one can go through their choice and select a suitable company.

Infrastructure: NIFT Bhubaneswar is one of the newest campuses, so apparently, everything is high standard with maximum facilities. There are no such facilities for physical games like cricket and football, but there are facilities for basketball, badminton, etc. Also, there is a gym, and there are canteen and cafe inside the campus, and everything else is also available.

Faculty: Though it is a professional college, every individual faculty is highly qualified, and they use modern teaching technique. 6 to 7 faculty per class according to subject wise. It will not be a fault if we call NIFT as a fabulous college as it is ranked 8th in the world as a fashion industry.

Other: We have curriculum activities takes place in NIFT and every year spectrum is organised, which is a fest and students from other colleges takes part in the fest. Surrounding is quite good, and open space is widely available. The other activities like various competition including game war, junk competition, and band competition, etc.
