Our college provides a good experience, knowledge, and environment.

Placements: Our college has good placements with decent packages offered. There are great internship opportunities. Here faculty members and mentors give regular and one-to-one guidance and advice and regular industrial visits for exposure. Students can learn craft cluster.

Infrastructure: There is a quite good infrastructure and a well-maintained campus. The environment is very calm and soothing with a lot of greenery. Equipment and machines are well managed. Hostel is neat and clean with all the necessities. Wi-Fi, Mac labs, Juki labs, resource center, and gym.

Faculty: We have knowledgeable and helpful faculty members. Creativity is always appreciated and given first preference. The college makes us fully prepared to face the industry. The course curriculum is relevant and appropriate. The college exams take place on mid-term, end-term, and jury evaluation basis.

Satisfied by the college facilities, okay placements in 2019 and grounded life welcomes you.

Placements: Not sure about overall NIFT FD students but my batch had less than 50% placement. Highest offered by shahi and myntra went to 30k in hand. Assistant designer, illustrator, graphics are the key roles offered. The internship was 100% and in major companies across India like Shahi exports Faridabad and Bangalore, FLF Bangalore and many more of these strata like Paramount export Delhi etc.

Infrastructure: The college had all facilities needed for the course but faculty needs an upgrade. The hostel is neat and clean and possesses good mess also. Food is fine and as compared to other government universities it is cheap and okay. Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus. Labs are well-equipped and well ventilated and neat enough. Most modern Juki machines are provided. And the library is growing day by day.

Faculty: Faculty members are just fine. Our batch was lucky enough to get guest faculty members from other NIFT centres to teach and we got to learn from inhouse and outside also. Curriculum needs to focus more and more on self improvement skills and less based on assignments. But yes it surely makes you ready for industry somehow.

Other: I loved to be around fabrics, talk about them, the latest designs and thus I went for this course moreover any art which you have makes you self sufficient in every situation. Course needs to have more of menswear and kidswear. Bhubaneswar to me is love now. College and atmosphere around campus was superb. The scholarship also falls in net for the needy.

Creative campus with good exposure to fashion and design skills.

Placements: In our course, placement opportunities are moderate, and some students prefer higher studies after graduation. Some students are placed in fashion brands and retail companies. Well, all students get internships during their course in any fashion brand or studio. The roles offered include fashion designer, merchandiser, stylist, and photographer.

Infrastructure: The institute provides good infrastructure, including sewing labs, pattern-making rooms, textile labs, computer labs, and a library. Wi-Fi is also available on both the campus and in the hostel. The mess offers very good meals regularly. Our campus has sports and recreational facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and very supportive, and also guide students well for our better improvement. Semester exams are manageable if you learn time management properly, which is the most important thing here. Assignments are tough, but most students pass successfully.

Other: Here, the campus life is very engaging as there are students from different design fields. Throughout the year, various events are organized through which students showcase their creativity.
