NIFT Bhubaneshwar offers a four-year BDes course spread across eight semesters. The institute offers BDes in four specialisations at the UG level. NIFT Bhubaneshwar admission to the same is based on the score obtained in two entrance tests, including CAT and GAT. Qualifying Age

- Aspirants who have passed Class 12 examination or from any recognised Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi can apply for BDes programme.
- Candidates with passing grade in the Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects are also eligible to apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi.
The institute also provides lateral entry to BDes courses. Aspirants who have passed secondary examination or Class 10 or three/ four-year diploma in courses related to Fashion / Apparel / Textile and Accessories / Home Science/ Handloom Technology/ Products / Visual Communication / Graphic Design/ Industrial Design / Interior Design / Multimedia Design / Apparel Technology / Leather/ Fine arts can apply for BDes (LE).

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) released the NIFT 2024 application form on December 5, 2023.
The NIFT application can be filled with both regular and late fees of INR 5,000.
The last date to apply with regular fees was January 3, 2024. However, with late fees, application was accepted up to January 16, 2024.
NIFT has also released the program-wise eligibility criteria that candidate needs to meet for admission to the design program they are applying to. The National Institute of Fashion Technology currently offers B. Des, M.Des B.FTech M.FTech, and MFM courses at its 18 participating NIFTs.

STEP 3: Release of Cutoff/ Merit List

STEP 4: NIFT Counselling

STEP 5: Document Verification & Payment of Fees
