NIFT Delhi provides Fashion and Design courses across various specialisations. BDes is one of the flagship programmes of NIFT Delhi. The total tuition fee for the NIFT BDes course is INR 12.96 Lakh. Admission is based on NIFT entrance exam followed by situation tests, personal interviews, and counselling. 

NIFT Delhi is frequently ranked among the top design colleges in the country. So, the admission cut-off for the institute is pretty high, especially when compared to the lower-ranked colleges. This is because being a higher-ranked college, NIFT Delhi receives a higher number of applicants. Another factor is more number of higher ranked candidates want to get admission in the institute, which also pushes up the cut-off. On the other hand, lower ranked colleges are not a priority for the top ranked candidates; meaning a higher number of lower ranked candidates applies to these institutes. This keeps the cut-off low in these institutes.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi gives various infrastructure facilities for the convenience of the students. Fully equipped labs, three seminar/ conference halls, a resource centre with more than 15,000 books, and a hostel with 200 beds etc. are some of the facilities.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers B.Des and B.FTech courses at the undergraduate level. NIFT Delhi offers M.Des, MFM and M.FTech courses at the postgraduate level. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi offers seat reservations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/GEN and PWD categories. Thus, these category candidates can apply for admission under these categories. The relevant category certificate has to be submitted for verification purposes. National Institute of Fashion Technology has a centralised placement process across all its campuses. Companies can employ NIFT students from any course or campus through On-campus placement and Pre-placement offers. In On-campus placement process, companies register for campus placement on a respective date as mentioned in the campus placement schedule. Apart from this, companies also offer pre-placements to students’ basis the projects / training / internships undertaken by the students.

Candidates must visit the official website of NIFT to register themselves for MDes course. NIFT Delhi MDes admission is based on an entrance test comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates on the basis of CAT/ GAT test scores are then required to appear for a Personal Interview round, conducted by NIFT. 

Aspirants have to pay a non-refundable application fees of INR 2,000 for UG and PG courses at NIFT Delhi. There is a relaxation in the fees for SC/ ST/ PwD category. Such candidates need to pay INR 500. Aspirants can pay the application fees via any of the online payment modes.
