Glad to choose the college for Knitwear Design.

Placements: Almost 80-85% of the students in our course were successfully placed in previous years. Graduate salaries are quite promising, almost equivalent to 14 LPA. The average package ranges between 4.5 to 5 LPA. Around 85% of students obtain internship offers in Tata Group, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Myntra, Future Group, etc. After the training period, students can easily get placed as knitwear designers, quality controllers, and costume designers for the entertainment industry.

Infrastructure: We have cutting-edge technologies like 3D printers, laser-cutting machines, Shimla Seiki computerized knitting machines, and other relevant equipment to carry out experiential work. Proper demonstration of the use and handling of the machines is given by the technical assistants prior to work. Besides the curriculum, students can also perform recreational activities like playing cricket, volleyball, etc., in the Kund (large open space), sit, and enjoy good food in the food court.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college have completed their doctoral studies in the field of fashion. They take assignments, quizzes, and presentations on a regular basis to test the understanding and involvement of the students in the lectures. The course curriculum is up-to-date and equips us with industry knowledge.

Good college, known for its placement, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Our college stands among the top Fashion Institutes in India because of its exceptional on-campus placement offers. Brands like Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. , Raymond and labels like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra etc. Are the notable employers that hire us and give us internship opportunities. The highest salary package went up to 14LPA and the average lies between 4-5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The uninterrupted internet facility, the lush green lawns, the cutting-edge infrastructure - all make our campus very opulent and student-friendly. The quality of the food served in the cafeteria is good. Hostel rooms are very clean. We also have medical rooms in case of emergency.

Faculty: Our college has around 70 full-time faculty members and 13 professors who are very knowledgeable and supportive. Their teaching quality is beyond words. Semester exams are moderate difficult. However, the teachers are always ready to give extra classes as and when needed.

Best College for Knitwear Design.

Placements: Students pursuing a four-year undergraduate programme in Knitwear Design from our college have a myriad of career opportunities once they pass out. For example, the positions offered in various industries are apparel designers, product develops, stylists, quality controller for fabric, fashion forecasters and a lot more. Pantaloons, Fabindia, Blackberry, and H&M are a few of the top-notch recruiters. We also get internship opportunities at e-commerce platform like Myntra, Ajio etc.

Infrastructure: Overall the college infrastructure and campus life are pretty good. Classrooms and laboratories are well-equipped. We have 3D printers, laser cutting machines, and digital printing machines in our college. There is a central library and a resource centre that are easily accessible to students. The college provides fully air-conditioned occupancies for female students.

Faculty: The faculty members in our department are always ready to help us with our courses. They provide high-quality yet easy-to-decipher lectures. The course curriculum facilitates creative thinking and helps us develop technical skills. One needs to study hard to pass since the semester exams are quite tricky.

Take your seat if all your criteria are matched with the university.

Placements: If asked about placement, I'm just not satisfied. Many students search for their own placements off-campus. Some students get placements from the University but they don't fare well. The highest package offered is too low. Internships are available for final year students but are of very low grade.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi connections are available for students but are limited. Classrooms and labs are present, and there are many books in our university library. Other facilities like hostels, mess, canteen, sports, and games are also available.

Faculty: Our teachers are really qualified, knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. Semester exams are tough, but teachers help us with preparation. Sometimes they conduct monthly exams as preparation. Just follow their guidelines, and then everyone gets good results.

Placements: Many students are already placed in many reputed companies or many medium companies. Many of them look for their placement outside. Their packages are around 1 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Many internship programs are available in our university but for final year students.

Infrastructure: Many facilities and infrastructures are available like labs, classrooms, library, hostel, mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports, games, playground, many cultural programs. All facilities are too much good and all are arranged by our university.
