According to India, Today Ranking 2022, NIFT Delhi is ranked 1 among all campuses that is followed by NIFT Mumbai and NIFT Bangalore. However, it is to note that NIFT has a centralised placement process across all its campuses. Companies can employ NIFT students from any course or campus through On-campus placement and Pre-placement offers.

The candidate will need the following documents to participate in the NIFT counselling process: Class 12/ degree mark sheet and certificate. Further, if the candidate is seeking admission to the PG course, then the candidate will also have to upload mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying degree examination.

In case of candidates who have appeared for the qualifying exam/ compartment (of final year/semester) and the result is due need to upload the date sheet /admit card for the examination. To apply for NIFT Delhi, you must have completed your 12th grade. 3. Then, you will have to register online for the entrance test on the official website of NIFT Delhi. 4. The NIFT Entrance Exam consists of a General Ability Test. 5. If you want to take admission to NIFT Delhi, then you will have to qualify for the cutoff. 6. NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025 has been announced for admission across multiple specialisations for the Round 1 seat allotment results. In NIFT 2025, the closing rank for the candidates belonging to General All India quota stood between 15 and 800. The competition remains intense due to limited seats for Master of Fashion Technology (M.FTech) and Master of Design (M.Des.). The Round 1 for the aforementioned courses stood at 15 and 24, respectively.

In addition, the overall cutoff rank for the OBC AI category quota ranged between 29 and 2703 as per the Round 1 seat allotment results.

Since, NIFT conducts a centralised placement drive across all NIFT campuses, the institute has not released an exclusive placement report 2023. However, the following points might help students in order to prepare for NIFT placement drive:

NIFT Delhi is one of the top Design institutes in India. It is the only institute in India to be ranked on the list of top 20 Design colleges, internationally. Getting admission to NIFT Delhi is every aspirant's dream. However, only a few are able to get admission to NIFTs, as the NIFT entrance exam it is not very easy to crack it. Candidates aspiring for NIFT Delhi need to cover important aspects such as Case Study, Analytical and Logical Ability, GK and Current Affairs, Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability and English Comprehension to crack the NIFT entrance exam. So, yes NIFT is difficult to get but with the rit approach and preparation, it is not impossible to crack the NIFT entrance test. 

The written tests for the NIFT 2025 exam was held on February 9, 2025. The detailed schedule has also been released. The written tests comprise a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). GAT is mandatory for all candidates, but CAT is only required for BDes and MDes candidates. 

The GAT test is considered in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT is offline based. Note that scores of the written exams will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview.
