As a student, I am satisfied with the college and its infrastructure.
Placements: 12 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 24 LPA. The top recruiting company at my college is Goldman Sachs. There are currently many students who have been selected for internships in our college under the call health organisation.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not working properly and the ventilation or fans are less even though it is a green environment college. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. Labs are working properly and have good equipment. The mess food is slightly short of chips.
Faculty: Teachers are just theoretically knowledgeable. They teach the concepts as per the syllabus and their availability of time to complete the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students better. The academic pass percentage is 75 percent
Other: I came into this stream for a good and high-paying software role and this course gives you how things and trends work in the current and future society. Better hands-on experience improves the course learning.

The faculty is not good, no one seems genuinely interested in learning. Not a good experience.
Placements: There are no proper placements. They bring call centre and KPO jobs as placements. Students gain no real knowledge and nothing that is useful for getting into good companies, relevant tools and technologies.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connectivity is poor, the computers in the labs do not work properly, are outdated or lack required software. The classrooms are sufficient in number. The canteen is bad too, the food served is not good in terms of quality and taste. The menu lacks variety.
Faculty: The faculty is poor and unqualified, and the college should hire better teachers. The curriculum is outdated and poorly designed. They conduct only one class in a day once a week, which wastes the entire day of students. The exams are fine and conducted in an organised manner. The faculty is not good. Some of the faculty members who teach DSA in Python don't even know the basics of Python themselves. They just study the night before and prepare PPTs and read them in class.
Other: The campus lacks sufficient space. The events are poorly organised and could be much better. The clubs are also run badly and need significant improvement. The management should focus on hiring better faculty and ensuring that students learn real-world tools and technologies. There is no ragging, and students can talk freely, there are no strict discipline rules.

This college(HITAM) is good.
Placements: Around 40 to 50% students are placed. 25 LPA was the highest package, and it was placed around a year back, and she was very happy. The lowest was 6 LPA. Qualcomm, VLSI, and many more recruit. 40% students got internships as VLSI designers, embedded designers, chip designers, software jobs and many more.
Infrastructure: The HITAM (Hyderabad Institute of Technology) is an excellent and very good-looking college, and it is the place where you can see only trees around the college. We can't talk about the infrastructure, it is the best, I think, in Hyderabad. We play a lot of sports in college. They encourage us, and they conduct plenty of competitions in the college, and we go to other colleges to play and show our talent. Food is excellent and reasonable, and the hostels are good, and the medical facilities are also fine. Overall, it's a very good college and faculty.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They solve the doubts we ask, they explain very well, they teach us the morals of life, as well as the lessons, and I can say our teachers are good. They are ready. We visit several companies and gain knowledge, as well as inside the college. Exams are hard, but we can write because our faculty teaches us very well.
Other: I chose it because of my passion. Nothing to improve. All are very good.

Affordable college with solid infrastructure and a growing Mechanical department.
Placements: I am a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student from the 2023–26 batch. Mechanical placements are average compared to CSE/IT branches. Around 40–45% of students from our senior batch get core or related roles through campus drives, while others pursue higher studies or off-campus jobs. The highest package in Mechanical is around 5.5 LPA, the lowest is about 2.2 LPA, and the average is near 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is eco-friendly and well-designed with good academic facilities. Our mechanical department has dedicated labs for thermal, fluid mechanics, CAD/CAM and strength of materials, with functional machinery. Classrooms are spacious with projectors and Wi-Fi is available, though the speed varies.
Faculty: Our mechanical faculty is approachable and knowledgeable. Most professors hold M.Tech degrees and guide us well in design and manufacturing subjects. The curriculum follows JNTUH guidelines but includes extra training in CAD software which is helpful for industry preparation. Exams are moderately difficult. Internal assessments and lab records are mandatory. Around a 90 percent pass rate is common.
Other: For Mechanical, the fee structure is reasonable compared to other colleges. Campus life at HITAM is vibrant. There are cultural events, technical fests like Elysian, student clubs, sports facilities, and green spaces that make the environment relaxing. The crowd is friendly and mostly from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The campus is well-connected and has a peaceful vibe making it a good environment for learning.

Review of HITAM College, which makes HITAM stand out from the crowd.
Placements: HITAM is one of the best colleges when it comes to placements, and highest salary package is 24 LPA from the Goldman Sachs company. Recently, 2025 passed out students are selected in one of the major companies, Cognizant, and are doing their internships from different locations in India.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, and new construction is underway to provide as many new opportunities as possible to the upcoming batches. And whole greenery is accumulated on the campus, and you can enjoy good food in the HITAM canteen. An open library and a separate incubation center are there, and IEEE student chapters where students do their individual and group projects.
Faculty: Curriculum of HITAM college is quite different from other colleges. HITAM provides opportunities to participate, engage, and do their own specifications from their 1st year itself. HITAM had Google developed, Toastmasters, hackathon, and numerous student chapters, which help students to learn and gain knowledge in their field of engineering.

Good faculty members and experience for learning. There are many courses and placements are good.
Placements: Placement offered is good, and they are rated as average, and that is a good thing, and college is still working on it's placement. The highest package is around 40 LPA on campus and off campus. There are more LPAs. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Goldman Sachs. The percentage of students get into internships is very high like people who have no backlogs. Good percentage can get into an internship through college. Top roles offered in our course will be according to the knowledge you have.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of HITAM is very good because it has greenery all over and it is taken care of by many people. It is better to compare many colleges in structure like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, and library. Everything is good. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is also comparatively good. The quality of food is also edible in the canteen. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members, curriculum, and exam of course are also conducted. Very strict exams are taken care, and there is no malpractice. Hence, the faculty members and curriculum are also maintained by the HOD. The pass percentage of the college is 70% or more than 65% is a requirement, and also very good.
Other: There are regular fest, connectivity, campus, recruitment, scholarship, and extracurricular activities as well. The student will be engaged in many activities, including academics.
