Good college but dissatisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placement is good but you do not get many opportunities. Only two or three good companies visit our campus and the rest are Business Process Outsourcing companies. The college provides placement training. It will be useful for you to improve your skills but they charging for that separately. The college is providing 90% placement every year but 70% of the students are jobless till now because they are placed in BPO sectors and other small companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, this college is good. They have built two engineering colleges and one polytechnic college in a very small area. Wi-Fi facility has been introduced in 2015. It's available all over the campus. The library is good and efficient. The canteen is not sufficient because for three colleges there is only one canteen. It's always crowded. Food is provided at a normal cost. The hostels have separate mess facility. The food provided in the hostel is good. An open auditorium has been introduced this year.

Faculty: The faculty members are not knowledgeable. They skip the portions. Tests are conducted back to back. Lab facility is good. If you want better coaching and training don't choose this college. They teach you only from the exam point of view. They concentrate only on the results. Some faculty members don't have enough knowledge and are subjected to handle tough subjects. Projector facility is available. They have only one projector for the whole department. Industrial visits are organized once in a year.

Other: If you have the chance to go to Chennai or Coimbatore go for it. Make this college as the second opinion. In Erode city, it might be one of the best colleges. I give three stars to my college.

Other: It is a good place for students who join engineering to get a good job. On-campus job opportunities are available for CS and IT students and it is indeed plenty of them. It has got all necessary facilities which an engineering college should possess and also it has grown itself to a good position in a small period of time. The college also has excellent infrastructure and talented faculty members. We are encouraged to participate in many contests and co-curricular activities to improve our practical knowledge. Field trips and industrial visits have also given us enough exposure to real time implementation of classroom theories. Its placement record will overtake some of the top institutions in this locality in the near future as I see a constant improvement in the efforts of the management for creating more job opportunities.
