Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) (Formerly known as NSIT) offers four-year full-time BTech courses under several specialisations. Admissions to NSUT BTech course is based on JEE-Main score/ rank, and the counselling process is done by the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) whose work is to ensure smooth and easy counselling and processes for admission in undergraduate courses at Delhi Government funded universities.
The eligibility requirements for admissions into BTech at NSUT are as follows:
- Students should complete their Class 12 from Science stream with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) Biology can be exception, and meet minimum percentage requirements (60% General, 55% OBC-NCL/ Defence, 50% SC/ ST/ PwD in PCM aggregate)
- There are diff, quotas, with Delhi students filling 85% of seats and Outside Delhi candidates filling 15%.

Step 1: NSUT BTech Appliaction Process 2026:
Candidates to apply to their desired course, must first clear the course specific entrance exams.
1.1- Go the JEE-Main official website powered by NTA, i.e., (https-//jeemain.nta.nic.in/).
1.2- Enter the required details to register for the online application form and note down the system-generated application number.
1.3- Login through the system-generated application number and pre-created password.
1.4- Fill out the personal and academic details and your preference for examination cities.
1.4- Upload the scanned images of the academic certificates.
1.5- Upload the scanned images of the candidate photograph and signature.
1.6- Upload the scanned images category certificate and PwD certificate (if applicable).
1.7- After completing all the stages mentioned above, pay the requisite examination fee through Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card or UPI.
Documents required to fill JEE-Main application form-
While filling out the JEE-Main application form, students must keep certain documents to upload when needed. Here is the list of those documents which are required during the JEE-Main application form-

Students should note that JAC Delhi allows additional registrations and changes in the course preference before every round.
STEP 3:Interview/ Counselling round
Shortlisted Candidates are called for the Interview and counselling rounds, based on their merit performance in the qualifying examination.
STEP 4: Fees Payment & Final Admission
Once document verification is done, candidates must pay the NSUT BTech admission fees. The total tuition fee for the course ranges from INR 4 lakh to INR 4.5 lakh.
