NSUT BTech Highlights 2026
Netaji Subhas University of Technology BTech course is a four-year course offered in full-time mode. Candidates are offered 12 specialisations of BTech at NSUT.

Specialisations: The NSUT BTech specialisations include BTech in CSE, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Both BTech in CSE and ECE are offered in two sub specialisations which are AI and Data Science for CSE and AI & ML and IoT for ECE.

Eligibility: To fulfil the NSUT BTech eligibility criteria, students must pass Class 12th with PCM, PCB or PCMB with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for OBC-NCL/ Defence and 50% SC/ ST/ PwD) from a recognised board.

NSUT BTech fees structure is comprised of several fee components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, one-time payments and other fees. The tuition fee and hostel fee are charged on per semester basis in eight instalments. The security deposit is a one-time payment, paid in the first year.
Currently, all specialisations have the same NSUT BTech fees. The difference in fees is between BTech first year and lateral entry admissions. The NSUT fees for 4 years BTech ranges from INR 4.46L to INR 4.82L. If a BTech student chooses to cancel their admission, they will receive refunds on following basis:

NSUT BTech Admission & Application Process 2026
NSUT BTech course admissions are based on the JEE Main entrance exam. The candidates are alloted seats during the JAC counseling which is done after the aforementioned entrance exam during the admisions. The NSUT BTech application process is conducted in online mode. The steps mentioned-below show the complete NSUT admission process:
STEP 1: JEE Appliaction Process
Candidates to apply to their desired course, must first clear the course specific entrance exams.
1.1- Go the JEE-Main official website powered by NTA, i.e., (https-//jeemain.nta.nic.in/).
1.2- Enter the required details to register for the online application form and note down the system-generated application number.
1.3- Login through the system-generated application number and pre-created password.
1.4- Fill out the personal and academic details and your preference for examination cities.
1.4- Upload the scanned images of the academic certificates.
1.5- Upload the scanned images of the candidate photograph and signature.
1.6- Upload the scanned images category certificate and PwD certificate (if applicable).
1.7- After completing all the stages mentioned above, pay the requisite examination fee through Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card or UPI.
Documents required to fill JEE-Main application form-
While filling out the JEE-Main application form, students must keep certain documents to upload when needed. Here is the list of those documents which are required during the JEE-Main application form-
- HSC and SSC Marksheet
- Copy of the Caste Certificate (if required)
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if required)
- Scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature, etc.
STEP 2: NSUT BTech Application Process
Students wanting admission to NSUT BTech are required to apply via the JAC Delhi website. JAC registration is a two-step online process where students have to fill out the online application form and then make the payment of NSUT BTech application fees of INR 1,500. Students should note that JAC Delhi allows additional registrations and changes in the course preference before every round.
STEP 3:Interview/ Counselling round
Shortlisted Candidates are called for the Interview and counselling rounds, based on their merit performance in the qualifying examination.
STEP 4: Fees Payment & Final Admission
Once document verification is done, candidates must pay the NSUT BTech admission fees.

You cannot get admissions into BTech CSE course at NSUT without JEE Mains scores. Because the JEE Mains scores are necessary for admissions to NSUT undergraduate engineering courses. Thus, one can only enroll in the programme if they have valid scores in the entrance examination.
Netaji Subhas University of Technology eligibility is different for each course. The college selects students on both merit and entrance basis. The general eligibility is as below:
- Netaji Subhas University of Technology UG eligibility – Class 12 from a recognised board
- Netaji Subhas University of Technology PG eligibility – Graduation in a relevant stream from a recognised university
Aspirants need to pay INR 1,500 to apply for a course at NSUT. This fees excludes transaction fees. Candidates can pay the fees via any of the online payment modes.
NSUT Delhi admission 2026 is open. The university offers admission based on merit- entrance exam. Netaji Subhas University of Technology BTech seats are divided unevenly between specialisations. Out of all BTech specialisations, BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering had the most number of seats at 180 seats. Candidates have to apply for JEE Main for NSUT BTech programme. Once the results are out, aspirants need to fill out the JAC Delhi form. The seats in BTech are allotted via JAC Delhi Counselling based on JEE Main rank of the candidates. They do not have to apply on the official website of NSUT.
