- The CAT 2026 registration window is expected to open in Aug 2026, for the MBA course.
- Registrations for the MAT 2026 May session are currently in process for the MBA course. The deadline to register for the PBT mode is May 25, 2026, for the test scheduled on May 31, 2026. Further, the registration window for the CBT mode closes on Jun 8, 2026, with the exam set to be conducted on Jun 14, 2026.
NSUT MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
MBA at NSUT is offered through the Department of Management studies. MBA is a two-year postgraduate degree programme, spread across four semesters, and offered in full-time mode. Also, the university offers two-year full-time MBA (IEV), i.e. MBA in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development. The eligibility requirements for NSUT MBA admissions are as follows:
Eligibility: UG degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for reserved categories).
Selection: CAT/ MAT scores + PI. In case, if seats remain vacant CMAC may propose another criterion like CUET/ CMAT/ any other criteria.
The weightage that is given to the different parameters for selecting the students for NSUT MBA are as follows:

Students who have completed their graduation or pursuing last year of graduation can apply to the course.
- Go to the official website of CAT (https://iimcat.ac.in/).
- Click on 'new registration' and enter the required details to get the login credentials.
- Log in with the ID received in the email to fill out the application form.
- Enter personal and academic details.
- Upload scanned images of the candidate's photograph and signature.
- Select the test city preference for exam centre allotment.
- Pay the application fee via credit/debit card or net banking.
- Take the printout of the acknowledgement slip for future reference.

After completing the form of MBA course at NSUT. Students required to pay a registration amount of Rs. 1,500 + transaction fee (If any) for all categories. This amount is non-refundable. Once it paid, it can not be reversed.
NSUT MBA Curriculum
NSUT MBA curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. Aspirants have to study Core Courses, Open elective courses and, Skill-Based courses. The allocation of NSUT MBA seats is subject to rules of reservation followed by the university. As per the reservation policy, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC students. 7.5% of seats are reserved for admission of ST students. 27% of the total seats are reserved for Other Backward Class (non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and 10% of the total seats are reserved for EWS category. With 98.28 percentile in JEE first attempt, you can get admission branches, such as ECE, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in DTU, NSUT, IITD, and NIT Delhi.
