Somewhat satisfied because of a good college and campus life.

Placements: If you are someone who is pursuing Electrical Engineering, then you have the option to do jobs in tech, non-tech, and core fields. Last year, that is 2025, the placement was around 45% to 50%, which is low, I know, but the main reason was due to recession, and many students pursued masters after doing their B.Tech in Electrical. Keeping these points in mind, if your main objective is to get placed, you can get placed if you focus on this one thing.

Excellent placements. It requires hard work.

Placements: It's approximately 70-75 percent of the batch placed. The lowest package is 6 LPA, the average package is 15 LPA, and the maximum package is I guess 60 LPA or maybe even more than that. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, and Salesforce. Approximately 5-10 percent of students got internships on campus from the college.

Poor infrastructure, the CS branch is easily available.

Placements: As I am a first-year student, my batch is not getting placements, but the 4th-year students have around an 80% placement rate. The average package is around 15 LPA. I am not sure about the highest and lowest packages. Some of the companies I have heard about are Apribklr, Qualcomm, and Amazon. I have no idea about internships. The roles offered include IoT Engineer and SDE.

Review of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (West Campus).

Placements: Placements are not so good at the NSUT West campus. I'm a first-year B.Tech civil engineering student. In the last year, the average package offered has ranged from 4-5 LPA, and not all the students are placed. I saw one of my seniors who passed out last year got placed with a package of 3.6 LPA.

Highly competitive peer group, decent faculty, and placements.

Placements: The placement at the Instrumentation and Control Engineering branch at NSUT is quite impressive because students get to sit for both software/IT and non-teaching roles. Around 80-85% of students get placed with an average of 7-8 LPA, and the highest is up to 63 LPA, but getting an internship is quite difficult.

Good college, but the fees are a little bit high.

Placements: If you have maintained a CGPA above 8, there will be no problem in placement. The highest package of the year 2025 is 120 LPA, and 2 students received this package. The average for CSE is 24 LPA, and the median is 18 LPA. The overall average is 18.75 LPA, and the overall median is 15 LPA.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology offers 60 seats for allottment during BTech admission. These seats are allotted during JAC counselling based on JEE Main scores. This course has among the lowest seat intakes of any specialisation offered by NSUT.

No, there is no mention of an increase in Netaji Subhas University of Technology BTech fees based in coming years. Every installment of tuition fees will have a fixed fees that will not increase or decrease during BTech course duration.
